Miami survives a defensive game early to take out Florida State 27-10.

I find it strange that I'm mainly a run first team, yet have 2 impact WRs. :D

Maryland jumps out to a 24-7 halftime lead and hangs on to win 27-21. Notre Dame missed 2 FGs, which in the end was the difference. Jamaar Robinson had a great first half, throwing 3 TDs and 200+ yards. He would end with 17-25 268 yards 3 TDs.

Maryland moves to 5-2(4-1) for the season, and will start a tough 3 game road stretch. @Florida State, @Georgia Tech, and @Auburn. GT is ranked 8th, Auburn 24th, Florida State is just outside the top 25, just like Maryland currently is.
Did my recruiting (10 min left) and will play the game later today.
UM scores another victory, although the pass defense was severely lacking. UM rushing game is racking up major yards while the defense has held opponents to very limited rushing yards.
Northwestern improves to 5-1 with a 24-7 win over #25 Penn State. Arby Fields carried the load for the Wildcats with 30 carries and 99 yards on the day while scoring two touchdowns. Dan Persa continues his streak of no interceptions as he throws two touchdowns and 255 yards in the win.
Northwestern's defense shut down the Lions rushing attack and intercepted three Penn State passes on the way to the win.
The Wildcats return to action next week as they take on 5-2 Wisconsin at Ryan field.
I'll be playing tonight at 5PM and then advance.

Florida State's offense was unstopable in the first half, but both Maryland and FSU had long time consuming drives, resulting in a 17-14 Maryland lead with 0 turnovers and 0 punts in the first half. Florida State's offense in the 2nd half had some issues, including a 4th quarter Int. QB Will Secord was 15-21 224 yards 2 TDs 1 Int, Jermaine Thomas 15 carries 57 yards 1 TD.
Maryland improves to 6-2(5-1) and has sole possession of first place in the ACC Atlantic Division. still unranked, but sitting just outside of the top 25 in the media poll.

I didn't get a chance to advance last night, I will do it when I get home from work at 5 central.
Michigan, after switching to a new playbook to use personnel strengths, is appearing to get more comfortable with the new offensive plays. #19 Iowa came to town and was promptly fed to the Wolverines, losing 42-14. UM spent the day making Iowa's QB wish for more padding, including a key takedown early in which the feeble throw attempt was intercepted by DT William Campbell and returned for a TD. UM also got another TD on an INT return.
Denard Robinson threw 3 TDs, but didn't have great rushing numbers due to taking 3 sacks. The offense still has some work to do, but is showing signs of 'getting it'.
Sorry ... had an insane user game after work and had to watch The Walking Dead :) advancing right now.....
Deadline is Friday night.
Maryland still can't crack any top 25, 26th in the Media, and 30th in Coaches.
hopefully if I can beat GT, I'll get ranked for the first time in this OD. also, if I beat GT, it'll clinch the Atlantic.
