Got Titanfall too.
Now I just gotta figure out where to put everything.
I said $400 for the system, Titanfall, and Forza 5 would get me to bite. Turns out the price was $460 with no interest. I wonder if the PS4 and XB1 will fit side by side on my TV cart.

Hell yeah, doing it right! You'll love it, I guarantee it.
I had the same problem with my Xbox. Laying horizontally, it's a good 3 inches longer and almost double as high as the PS4. Then you have Kinect. I ended up just buying a mount and mounting the Kinect to my TV, which works great. I highly recommend that if you can find the mount for cheap.
And I'm gonna be the same way in a month or two when I get my tax return money and pick up a PS4. I had to do some serious rearranging just to make room for my Xbox One, and I have not a damn clue where the hell I'm gonna fit a PS4 in. And my HDMI ports are non-existent at this point. My TV only has 3 HDMI ports, which means I'll either have to plug my TV or feed my Xbox 360 in via the pass-through on the Xbox One to free up one slot. And then I'll have to leave my blu-ray player permanently disconnected and use the PS4 or Xbox One to watch blu-rays.
The Kinect can go on top of the entertainment center. I'm thinking about taking the doors and back off my TV cart the PS3 and PS4 are on, and put the PS3 down there.

If you still game on the 360, you can't pass it through the Xbox One. There's a solid 1 or 2 second delay and while it doesn't matter when watching TV, it's VERY noticeable when playing a game. But if you don't game on it, that would work.
My Xbox One wouldn't fit in mine, so I had to sit it on top. :D
It's not a whole lot longer than the PS4, but it's the height that screwed me over. It's almost double the height of the PS4.
I could maybe put one of those TV trays above my sub.

Fixed the price already. Damn. :D
Glad this happened right when I got home tonight. Or maybe I'm not glad. I don't really need an XB1 now. :D I guess if waiting til the deal I mentioned before, or wait til the system is $300, might as well jump on it now.
I think for now I'm going with a wooden TV tray over my sub for the location.

Do you guys run your TV through it? I dunno if I will.
Yeah, kinda sucks, I paid $450 for mine new, but no game bundled with it. I guess that is the price of getting it when I did, so paying and playing through the games worked out $/hour-wise. LOL.
No brainer. :DQuote:

I don't. However, I don't have cable. If I had cable, I'd probably do it, just to keep an eye on sports and that's about it most likely.Quote:

And I haven't felt the need to get a PVR/digital box in order to do it with OTA TV through the XB1, although people do and it works. There is a particular box that people are buying that supposedly works pretty well with the XB1 OneGuide TV setup.
Yeah, not sweating it. I'm not that hard up for money that $50 means a whole lot, especially given the hours I've spent on it already. :)
I definitely didn't need to buy this, but been jonesing for Titanfall and was waiting for the PC price to drop. Basically I'm paying $350 for the system since I'm getting Forza 5 for free. I'll have it paid off before interest strikes, so I guess it's win win. Now I just have to find the time for everything :D
I use all of the features including running my TV through it. I absolutely LOVE that I can say "Xbox, On" and it'll turn my Xbox on, my TV on, and then tune it to the correct input. I also love that I can say "Xbox, off" and it'll turn everything off. During March Madness, I was often playing Titanfall with a game snapped and watching that at the same time. Hell, you can even say "Xbox, volume up/down" and it'll do that, too. The voice commands and integration with everything is one of it's most underrated features, but they're features I SORELY miss when I'm gaming on PS4. Snap, particularly, is an amazing feature. Suspend/Instant Resume is also an amazing feature...can't wait until Sony gets that implemented.
Yeah, I said I should feel ripped off, but I really don't. I love my Xbox. I know the resident troll is just going to latch on this every chance he gets, but I've got infinitely more entertainment value out of my Xbox than I have my PS so far. It very simply has the better games right now.
By the way, if you like fighters, you owe it to yourself to download Killer Instinct. You get one free character which rotates every month, so you can get a good feel for it before you buy. I hate fighters but this is so damn smooth and good looking that I've found myself enjoying it and spending the $20 on the full game. :D
No kidding! All I want to do is play Titanfall, but in back of my mind, I've got a ton of Forza to play through, plus a stack of 360 games still. And then movies, shows......... :(Quote:

That is pretty cool feature, but one that I don't use. Because I use a Harmony remote and everything is run through my receiver. Don't feel like I'm missing much of that feature although they get credit for having it.Quote:

That is one feature I do feel I'm missing out on, especially when football season rolls around. There are a lot of games I'm somewhat interested in, but not enough to not play a game or do something else while it is on, so it would be cool to be able to have it up there.
Agreed.Quote:

I did. Bored in 5 minutes, just because I've never been big into fighting games.Quote:

Pretty sure I figured it out. He's actually a huge Xbox fan, but he's just using reverse psychology to annoy people and drive them to trying out the Xbox in order to boost it even further, as well as strengthen the existing Xbox users' reasons for liking the system and games.Quote:

So do I...right beside each other in fact. March Madness game I really want to watch on the TV by itself. Another tournament game on my laptop right in front of me. A 3rd tournament game snapped while I play Titanfall. If I REALLY wanted to, I could get the 4th game on my phone, but eh, that might just be the screen that pushes it into overload. :D
Point being, snap is awesome...not just for TV, but all the apps that can be snapped.
