man, there has to be something more that they can do with her, because as of now, she doesnt add anything to the game. i dont even notice the injury updates since i always pause the game to check out the injury immediately.

I have not heard it mentioned so I am guessing it is not but are dynamic rivalries or the ability to edit rivalries in this year?
It'd be cool based on say a 3-year look at a yearly matchup, and if it is split 2-1 and each game has been within a TD....that could be a dynamic rivalry.
I just think it is really one thing that really needs to be added to help take Custom Conferences to another level.
I agree. Hopefully the developers will put a lot of focus on custom conferences and coaching carousel next year to flesh them out (which Kwizzy, G and the other CD guys have said they told the developers that the community wants to see more done with those features). There are dozens of things that can be done with each one, and hopefully a lot of those ideas that some of us have come up with will come to fruition.
Take for instance custom conferences. Dynamic/user created rivalries, conference deletion, conference creation, allow more than 123 (124 next year with Georgia State) teams, up to say maybe something like a max of 130 or 150 or something using teambuilder teams, which would then mean adding the ability to add teams without having to substitute them with a team already in the game.
Those are just the things I can think of/remember off the top of my head with only a minute or two of thinking. A whole hell of a lot more can be thought up for future implementation.
I love the changes and additions that the team have made for 13, recruiting definitely needed something done with it, scouting is a great addition, dynamic grades will finally allow you to use a crappy team and gradually improve them and know exactly what you have to do to improve them. The presentation updates are finally get us to the levels of immersion that we have on Saturdays in real life (ESPN ticker, studio updates, etc). But they definitely need to put a large focus of time into carousel and conferences next year and really expand on them from their initial/current states in the game. It was a great start as much as they did with both features last year and how much they were able to include in both features in the very first year in the game, but they need to keep pushing the envelope and expanding them both further and further with each new game.
Quick question... for changing rivalries, would you prefer custom (user-controlled) or dynamic (game-controlled) rivalries? You only get one, not both.
Just curious because I could see the custom being much easier to implement and especially satisfy the user. The dynamic could require 3-4 years before a trend would be created and thus would not impact the majority of Online Dynasties.
I would prefer custom, with the ability to edit in the offseason like you can the conferences.
Custom. I'd be afraid that too many conference matchups would end up becoming rivalries if it were dynamic.
That said, it would be great if the game would give us an alert that a series has been close and ask if we wanted to make it a rivalry. This way, you could update rivalries around the country without knowing anything about what is going on with teams you never play with. That would allow you to step into newly-formed rivalries when you switch teams.

And definitely agree with custom. As I play my dynasty, based on how games played out over the years, I start to get a feeling of rivalries with teams in my mind based on past games. If it was implemented as dynamic, the game might suggest or try to make a rivalry between me and someone who I don't consider a rival, while a team that I do have a personal feeling that we're starting to become rivals, nothing happens. So custom would definitely be the way to go.
Custom. If I build up a 1*, initially, the games will be close with the other low schools but once my squad is good, those rivalry games be blowouts and the competition will be with the big dogs.
Custom is probably best. It would be really, really hard to get a naturally evolving automatic system to work well.
Custom for user teams would be the way to go. I would picture doing it in the custom conference menu. This is something I have wanted for years and it would be awesome to see in the game. In NCAA 12 I have an absolutly massive rival in Arizona St. The games between us are so good but the broadcast doesn't recognize the history of our rivalry, etc. Imagine if it did!:)) I see it right now the Cal/ASU "Golden Devil" trophy.:D
Kotaku article: There’s a New Way to Pitch in NCAA Football
Excerpt:
That's one new wrinkle in a general overhaul of the "pitch system" in NCAA Football's Dynasty mode, whose recruiting mandate makes it the most intensive and interesting sports management simulation available on a console. Gone is the frustrating "roulette wheel" of past versions, where you'd simulate calling a player on the phone and having to discuss a random attribute of your program, whether it's a strength, a weakness, or even something the kid is interested.
The wild cards will now be manifested in scouting high school players, who may not be as good as their ranking suggests, and in managing the needs of your current roster, who may be looking turning professional early, or transferring to a school nearer to mom and dad.
But the underlying structure has become more transparent and less subject to whim. In the past, attracting talent depended upon a number of selling points beyond your control—your campus lifestyle, television exposure and the prestige of your conference . These were all graded and set throughout your career, even if you altered a conference's makeup. They were a source of considerable outrage from offended alumni, who would take to EA Sports forums to complain about being rated a B- in academic prestige or championship contender status. And an unduly driving factor was the team's Bowl Championship Series ranking.
"This year, we created the means to influence those pitches to recruits," said Jordan Peterson, "and the game exposes those conditions to the users." For example, the "conference prestige" grade. Meant to measure a recruit's desire to play in an elite league like, say, the Atlantic Coast Conference, it will now adjust for the performance of that conference's teams that year. This means a coach can sell into a spike, so to speak, if he's coaching a team in an up-and-comer conference whose programs are gathering a lot of attention at the time.
Since all conference changes are now custom, I'd go with custom rivalries. Dynamic would have been a blast when conference promotion/demotion happened, but would be out of place with the current system.
If you could have both, here's what I'd like to see: Custom Rivalries allowed to be setup pre-dynasty, when you're setting up the initial custom conferences. Then dynamic within the actual dynasty. But Custom is probably a safer option too.
Beautiful thing about an option like that is that it's only time-consuming if you want it to be. People like me would go through game by game and see who should be new rivals, while others would just skip it.
Setting the bar high there.
Huh.... i was just checking the big east bowl games and i saw that wvu killed clemson.
and they lost to UL and only beat UC because thier star QB broke his foot. I also saw the big east players go higher in the draft. Maybe its the ACC overrated? u can say that NC ST. beat UL but cincy beat UL and NC STATE( blow out) o and they beat a SEC school. huh maybe the big east is.... dare i say it underrated??? you can also say that wvu is the best and that there leaving. but out of the past 4 years they one it 2 times(big east title). UC won it 3 times.... maybe you sould be stop talking huh?
