A very very GREAT month. I guess Bioshock was for Europe.
Outlast looks fun as hell. I've wanted to play Metro and Remember Me. And I loved the first Payday. Basically Left 4 Dead but you're bank robbers.
Not a great month for me with all the FPS games lately but a pretty solid offering.
I tend to agree with CLW on this one (did I just say that? lol :) ). The offerings are good... BUT... I'm NOT a FPS type of game player. I will check out Outlast though as it looks pretty suspenseful.
I loved Payday 1. Left 4 Dead with bank robbers.

Dead Nation is a great little game. Not really sure the motivation behind remaking it on PS4, though. I would've much rather had Dead Nation 2.
Wow better go trade in Tomb Raider now on PS3 before the trade in value sinks to zippo.
I bought the same TB HDD I got for the PS4 to use in my PS3 with all of these good retail games and who knows when I'll get to them.
I think the Broadcast+ Mode (among other changes) may be why:
The Road to Devastation expansion is now included in the main game, giving you two extra game modes — Arcade and Endless — allowing you to test yourself against ever increasing odds. And with support for the official PlayStation companion app, all you completionists out there now have a second screen to monitor your game stats as you play.
One of the new features in Apocalypse Edition, which you may have spotted in the trailer, is Challenge mode; every time you finish a single level, you can now send your score over to a friend to try and beat. When playing a challenge you can see the avatar of the player who set the challenge, allowing you to race against them or scope out their high-scoring route. What’s that I hear you say? “What if your friends are no match for your zombie decapitating skills?” Well, how about you take on the challenge of any leaderboard entry, for any single level, made by any player?
My favorite new feature is Broadcast+ mode. In this mode, you can stream your game to the masses interactively, and your viewers can influence the difficulty of your game. Periodically all your viewers, whether they be on PS4 or a web browser, have the option to vote between a positive and negative effect that occurs in your game. There are a total of 30 different voting effects that can occur, ranging from spawning zombie packs to giving the player ammo, or even disabling the player’s ability to sprint. But don’t worry; as a player you can get back at the masses, because voters will appear in your game as named zombies for you to exact your revenge on.
Broadcast+ Mode alone has me interested in downloading and playing the game.
April 2014 PS Plus free games:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytb62SuXpZY
In April, PS Plus membership includes Mercenary Kings, Batman Arkham City, Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark, Castle of Illusions Starring Mickey Mouse, Velocity Ultra, Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD, and more!
Mercenary Kings looks f'n fun. Like the old Rush N Attack game, but with some crafting RPG stuff.
First sim sports title for free via +. PES was great back in the day but I haven't played it in years.
All kinds of eh. Why not throw up Knack? I guess I can't complain about the quality of the titles now that Plus is required for online play, though. Sneaky Sony! :D
I definitely want to try PES
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx since I'm too lazy to get to the CPU.
Decent lineup for June:
PS4
•Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate
•Trine 2: The Complete Story
PS3
•NBA 2K14
•Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (US only)
•Lone Survivor (Europe only)
Vita
•Terraria (US only)
•Mutant Mudds Deluxe (US only)
•Dragon’s Crown (Europe only)
•Surge Deluxe (Europe only)
Wish Dragon's Crown was here, but I'll take Terraria. It'll be interesting to play 2K14 on the PS3 after playing it on the PS4. I might trophy whore it for the easy ones and delete. Some good PS4 games too.
What are the two PS4 games like/about? I've never heard of either of them.
Sent from my Droid Maxx using Tapatalk because I'm a lazy ass
Hmm 2K14 for PS3 is nice. Glad I kept mine definitely going to grab that.
No clue what those PS4 games are. They both sound weird though and something I wouldn't be interested in lol
Hmm. Not sure how much interest I'll have in them, but what the hell, I'll download them anyway. If I don't like them, I'll just say screw it and delete them.

Pixeljunk Shooter is an old school platforming shooter kinda like Defender, but the levels are much more in depth.
Trine is a really awesome RPG/Puzzler where you have a team of people that all have special skills. It's kind of a medieval / fantasy themed game.
If I read this correctly the games you get with Playstation Plus are only going to be available for a month moving forward.
So for example June's games release on the 1st Tuesday of the month. Then will expire on the 1st Tuesday of next month's released games.
Thought for sure I read that in an article. Anyone know anything about that?
I downloaded 2K14 lastnight and going to get Pixeljunk soon as I turn on my PS4.
Instead of releasing them throughout the month, Plus games now are all released on the first Tuesday of every month together. When it's time for the next batch, the previous ones will presumably expire.
I like it much better this way. Spacing them out throughout the month is dumb, IMO.
Yeah but I'd like to keep the game for the entirety of my Plus subscription which will be indefinite given that you need for the PS4.
Planned on playing 2K14 for a while.
Now I only have less than a month.
I like going into the store once a week and seeing what's new.
Nothing changes about that. As long as you have a Plus membership, you'll be able to play the Plus games you downloaded. The only thing that's changing is the amount of time that each item is available in the store. Once you download it, it's yours as long as you have a Plus membership.
Correct.
Yeah, I was gonna say, only a month to play a game and then that's it, that would be monumentally stupid on Sony's part.
Ah ok sweet.
My understanding was that you couldn't play it anymore.
That works then. I'll have them downloaded way before they expire and definitely will keep Plus.
Thanks OU
On another note I really enjoy Pixel Junk. Didn't know anything about until JB and G said something.
Since getting a PS4 I'm playing a lot of games I otherwise wouldn't have since I didn't get but one game.
Pretty cool
