Wow. That definitely looks interesting. Sadly, the screenplay is written by Damon Lindelof (Prometheus, Lost, Cowboys & Aliens) which means the movie is most likely going to be atrocious... (sigh)

He's done other good work, so I don't totally get the "sadly" or automatic atrocious. But he didn't write the screenplay. He was hired to re-write part of the movie but didn't complete the job. J. Michael Straczynski, one of the best writers ever IMO, wrote the original draft, and Matthew Michael Carnahan re-wrote that version (and is currently the credited "writer").Quote:

Reading Wikipedia (it's on the web, so it has to be true) it sounds like the movie is basically a zombie flick that uses the name of a popular book but doesn't capture the meaning (of basic plot points) of the book.
