Thanks for the offer, but I split it with someone else already and I watched a video of it on Youtube of two guys playing and it looked extremely fun. Just played for like 20 minutes and died because I adventured out too far, but it's definitely interesting. I was starting to build up stuff and was getting close to having log armor and being ready to really wreck some shit.
Beatn, I can probably split with you.

Yeah, it's pretty damn deep for a game of it's style, which kind of caught me off guard. The version I played was through Chrome and kind of buggy, so I'm interested to see any changes they've made.
Sounds good. Just let me know whenever/if you decide you want to. I believe you do get instant access to the beta if you buy now, but I'm sure that offer will stand for another several weeks yet.
Sine Mora $3.39 on Steam via Amazon. Yay or Nay?
Also in terms of gaming mice....are these two cheaper ones okay just for me who's not overly going to get serious? Both are rated at 4.5 stars.

Either of those would be fine. Really, anything above 2000 dpi is overkill. I have one that goes up to 4000, and it's utterly insane trying to do anything with that high of a setting. Number of buttons really shouldn't be a factor unless you actually plan on using it for a MMO or somethin' (and, even then, in my experience, it's a waste).
Oh shit, I didn't realize it was a Shmup. Hell yeah! I'm definitely gonna have to purchase it.
Its the same price on Steam now unless you really want to go through Amazon for some reason.
Played some Team Fortress 2 last night. I can't remember the last time I played with a keyboard and mouse. :D I didn't do anything fancy, just used my movement buttons and firing my gun. And jumping here and there :D
I'm still not used to WASD for movement. I wish there was some device that allowed me to use an analog stick for movement and then a mouse for aiming.
Man, WASD is second nature to me, but I've been using it for movement since Doom 2.
Seriously, what is Scribblenauts? I've seen everyone raving about it and you can get 30% off of it on Green Man Gaming, so naturally I'm intrigued, but I have no idea what it is from looking at screenshots and watching game play videos.
It probably is. But it'd be decently close to what you were asking for, so I figured it was worth throwing up.
Yeah, I've read a bunch of user reviews and none of them really mention how it compares to an analog stick on a controller, so I'm probably just going to get it and try it for myself. If I could find a decent solution to being able to use an analog stick like device for movement, I'd probably ditch console gaming completely until the next generation of consoles arrived.

Saitek has a model with an actual analog stick: http://reviews.cnet.com/pc/saitek-cy...-31818303.html
So does Logitech: http://gigaom.com/apple/logitechs-g1...ced-gameboard/
That would be extremely interesting if it actually worked. That is definitely the kind of thing that I'm looking for. I may have to look into that.
That's the one I was looking at. I'll probably get it and if it doesn't work out, just suck it up and dedicate myself to becoming familiar with WASD. I would just use a controller, but using a controller for aiming against mouse users puts you at an immense disadvantage.
Well damn:

Yes please.
X-Com is worth every dime!
Is X-COM a lot better on the PC?
Everything is better on PC. ;)
I might get it on Friday if the deal is still live. Else who knows. It might be $10 before we know it.
