Miami beat the Noles 47-7. Also noticed that Penn State lost to Iowa this week. What happened steeler?
I shit the bed. For some reason I couldn't get stops when I needed them and I had 4 turnovers while forcing 0. They had a pick 6. I fumbled a punt that gave them the ball inside my 20 (ended with a FG) and my other 2 TOs took 6-14 points away from me. It was just a mess.
Bye bye, MNC.

Rivalry Game with several recruits in the house.
I went all-in with recruiting going after a bunch of high profile recruits. Last week I think six four-stars all committed.....somewhere else. For most, I think I was somewhere between 2nd and 4th on their final list. Luckily, I think I have found a few diamonds in the rough to make up for missing out and hope to land some of the remaining high profile recruits left on my board.
I have to admit, I did edit our sliders twice this season to match Powerhouse since that is what we voted to use and I believe they made a tweak or two since we voted. Even with the CPU getting slight bumps up, the CPU seems to be a complete pushover for the most part in our games this season. I'm not sure if we are missing something on the settings or what. What do you guys think?
I agree with that. I think the CPU tripped up Steelerfan, but he got hit by the turnover bug. I got pushed in a game or two, but had injuries to some key offensive starters and still won. I'll do a quadruple check on sliders again before we advance again and see what we can do.
I've been trying out different sliders offline and I've had good results using SECElite's base slider set. I did have to tweak the coaching sliders for all teams though which I don't think works after the season starts not to mention its about an hour long task! Not sure how they would work with the default coaching sliders. Most are set really high on def. aggressiveness which results in the hit or miss PA passes and all out blitzing on third down.
#2 Miami defeats #21 Georgia Tech 63-6 with a couple of the same recruits visiting that CLW had. Lets see who they like more. You will probably get the commits because they were soft committed to me. Unfortunately I didn't have any rivalry games at home this season. Maybe they will like my win over a ranked opponent more.
5/7 are ready to advance as I just finished my game. JB and Escobar remain.
Added a K & P to my recruiting class, joining a LB. My #1 target got signed by MSU, but still holding out hope for some bigtime prospects. In the meantime, I'm working on salvaging the class should none of them pan out.
Yeah, I will take the #1 HB over a FS that would have been switched to SS anyday.;) It was a good week for me as I signed that HB, the #2 ranked MLB, and a [4star] SS and OL. Moves me up to #3 in recruiting on the season. I don't need a big class considering I only have 12 seniors so I was able to take some chances and go into states I would not normally.
On a different note, I got freaking jumped again after dominating a ranked opponent!

More importantly, I got the Draw Me a Touchdown Trophy!
I believe Escobar is the last one to go. :)

Anyone having problems with the servers? It takes like 5 minutes to download the dynasty and then after I played my game it froze as it was going back to the dynasty hub. Hope I don't have to play again.
They have been goofy on both 360 and PS3.
On 360, I kept getting the servers unavailable message, but finally got in.
On PS3, the download went very slow and IIRC the Dynasty Wire sometimes gets the unavailable message as well.
I've been having issues with PSN and EA all night. Getting kicked off and on repeatedly.
Probably will get mine in tomorrow night.

6/7 ready. Escobar remains.
I just had the craziest game ever. #8 PSU vs #9 Wisconsin. I led 34-0 only to have the CPU cut it to 41-38 before I eventually won, 55-38. The crazy comeback wouldn't allow me to pull my starters. Stephfon Green rushed for 434 yards (NCAA record) on 25 carries (17.3 ypc) with 6 runs of 20+ and 6 TDs. Sheesh!
Yeah, but I still got Richard Sowell!:P
Escobar is having internet troubles, but will be back online tomorrow he hopes.
It's fixed. I'll be getting my game in in a little bit.
Bama survives the Iron Bowl vs. CDJ's Auburn squad 17-10 in the rain. And with that rain it was a very sloppy game with 7 total turnovers.
Escobar is all that remains.
The week has been advanced.
I will be away from my PS3 next Monday-Thursday, so let's try to get two weeks finished by next Sunday and I will aim to advance the OD next Monday morning and then Thursday evening.
I'll also have limited internet access for part of the week, so once we are completed feel free to post in this thread and I'll try to check in so I know to advance.
A&M get its second Big XII title in convincing fashion. Jameil Showers was the standout player of the game going 10-13 for 2 TD's and also adding one on the ground.
6/7 ready. CLW remains.
Guys I am on vacation and I tried this morning but I cannot get my PS3 to work on the hotel's t.v. I think it has something to do with my recent switch to HDMI at home and I'm now trying to use a Standard Def hookup to the hotel t.v. I'll be back from vacation on Friday. If needed, please advance w/o me.
Thanks guys that did solve my lack of picture issue. Unfortunately, at the Marriott I am staying at when I click the internet browser to try to connect online it will not allow my PS3 browser to scroll to the right of the home page to connect to the internet. I keep getting a Java Script Error Has Occurred message when the page loads. Looks like I will be AWOL until Friday afternoon/evening.
