Hmmm I can either get Alice for $30, or Dead Rising 2 for $10 with my credit...
Alice looks interesting, plus you get a download for the original game from 2000.
Screw it....going with Alice. They have $0.99 release date delivery.

That is very true. I definitely prefer the release day delivery. Plus my release date delivery was free since I'm halfway through a free trial of Amazon Prime (have bought a ton of games and other stuff during this trial, so it had been nice having it), so that's always nice. And I got an email saying I was getting $0.99 back today because while I had preordered at $59.99, the lowest price Amazon had had prior to release date was $59.00.
Crysis 2 is 34.99$ at Amazon today, that's a savings of 42%. That's the price for all platforms, if you want the PC version u can buy the download for 29.99.
Fear 3 and Green Lantern have 20$ credits.
Has anyone played Crysis 2 and have any impressions?
Hopefully I get the same! I got the 15$ credit and a e-mail saying I got 99 cents back...hopefully an extra 5$ comes in and L.A. Noire is the greatest deal I've ever gotten on a game!
inFAMOUS 2
Battlefield 3
NCAA 12!
Duke Nukem
F.E.A.R 3
Max Payne 3
Most of those come out right around Alice or even before.
Sweet! I just got an email from Amazon with an additional $5 credit as well. So that's a $20 credit now, free release day shipping thanks to Amazon Prime, and $0.99 back due to me pre-ordering when it was $59.99, but the price at one point dropped to $59.00. A good purchase. :D
You should get it eventually. If myself and psuexv got it, it would appear everyone who pre-ordered and got the $15 credit is getting the additional $5 credit as well. It just depends on how long it's taking Amazon to get the credits added to the individual accounts.
:D
So I'm chatting with Amazon customer service and he said he looked at my account and said I should have $30 in credit....I went and cancelled Alice and rebought it, and the extra $5 from LA Noire is in there and I told him no, just see $20 (I should only have $20)....and he said, one minute I will correct this for you, and I will get Alice for $15.98 release day delivery :D :D
God Amazon customer service is horrible when it comes to credits. :D Always giving out more credit than is correct.
Yeah I buy a lot of games, and I figure I will buy NHL when I go to Tiger 13 Community Day in the fall....the other two games are going to not be out for a while. Gears 3 is already pre-ordered, I could have cancelled it and reordered it, but oh well, that is also about four months away. Skyrim is going to be a no-brainer for me, and I am sure Amazon will have release day delivery and pre-order credit once we get closer (November).
Looking more into Alice, and on top of that you get the original game too, I'm kinda interested....plus when Amazon dropped the pre order price on PS3 to $44.99, add in a $30 credit and release day shipping, that works for me. I can definitely pull a profit on ebay if for some reason I don't like the game. Also, Amazon preorders get the soundtrack to the game which is made by a former member of NIN.
amazongames: PSA: Customers who ordered L.A. Noire by 5/17 will be sent an additional $5 credit to bring their total credit up to the current $20 level.
woohoo got my 5$ making my overall credit 20$. Hopefully inFAMOUS has a good credit and NCAA 12 also.
PC Gamers - at 4PM central, Rift will be a Gold Box Deal....
I'm guessing 6pm central is either Madden or NCAA.
Edit - Looks like 6pm central is Madden, 10pm central is NCAA.
Yeah, according to CAG, they're both the 11 versions, not any kind of 12 pre-order or anything.
I never have said this before, but now I wish K-Mart didn't leave town with all these deals they're having now a days....
Same here. We used to have a K-Mart here in town all during my school years, up until about 5 years ago when they closed down here. They had some great deals on other stuff, but I never remembered them for great deals in games. Now after they're gone, it seems like they have constant deals in games these days.
Shit they closed the last store here when I was still in college, so that was 2001 or 2002.
Yeah, they lasted pretty well here in town against just Meijer, until Wal-Mart came to town. That pretty much put the nail in K-Mart's coffin in my town.
Free XBOX 360 Media Remote from AT&T, just use the promo code xboxremote. You get free priority shipping and the promo is a 100% discount, you don't even have to put in billing info.
NOTE: If using Firefox or Chrome you may have to enter Private Browsing to get the shipping fields to show up in the first part of the checkout that ask your name. To enter private browsing on Firefox is CTRL+Shift+P I have no idea about Chrome. You may also have to do this on other browsers I have no idea. This is a hell of a deal though haha.

Not really game related...Amazon is having a good sale on DVD's and Blu-Ray's until May 30th. Dark Knight Blu-Ray is 9.99 and there are a bunch of other good Blu-Rays for a bargain.
