not sure, i would think new recruiting pool would be fixed after the patch, but i doubt our current kickers at time of patch will be fixed...i think it 'could' be remedied by sliders but im not sure.

I'm not worried about my kcikers. Both are freshman :)
My kicker would be a senior. And I could only get a * to replace him.
mine are sophomores this year so it should be fixed before i recruit another ;)
Well I'll likely be bringing in a walk-on punter this year. I think my kick is a soph or junior not sure.
Shouldn't. For kickers, I imagine it will simply effect the next recruiting class that's generated (ie next Preseason) and awareness will simply be taken into account on next progression stage. So basically I'd say the furthest we should get before the next patch is finish offseason recruiting.
As for kickers/punters, both of mine are JRs but I'm closing to signing a decent prospect as project kicker if needed.
My next 2 weeks are going to be tough. I got Texas, and then I got OU right after that, and one of those teams are gonna be number one. But the team is doing much better than I thought we were going to do. I definitely could be sitting at 4-3 instead of 6-1. I'm hoping we can at least split the Texas and OU game, especially because we have OU at home.
FYI, guys, AWR for DBs is a big deal this year.
It may have been a big deal last year and I didn't notice. But I saw a couple things reviewing the YouTube G posted, and a couple things in my own game today against Purdue ...
Though then I see Russ's blog where it says AWR has nothing to do with playing defense (and that stuff is controlled with MCV / ZCV) that makes me wonder. Yes, the two guys I saw make mistakes were lower in AWR and lower in MCV/ZCV, but I find it much easier to believe their 40 AWR was the cause than slightly lower MCV/ZCVs.
I think I remember reading that no matter how much you played underclassmen they progressed all the same in rankings. I didn't see anything in the blog post that addressed this. Anyone know if this was fixed or is going to be looked into?
I just want to throw out there that Papa really put a lot of work into his team. When I first saw his offense I think I was in shock at how they looked the entire drive lol.
lol....we like to look GOOD while we are out there on the field....lol
Yea....but I didn't use any media guides....I've hired a fashion equipment advisor here at the University of Texas :-p
Through Week 8, OD members in Top 25 Classes:
#1 USC
#4 Texas
#5 Ohio State
#12 Virginia Tech
#13 Florida State
#19 Penn State
Just want to reiterate my point here. Call Run Right against a running play to the right, and you can still get beaten if it's well blocked. Call Run Mid against a toss to the right, and you're screwed. No reason to ban them this year, they're really risk/reward.
As the season is winding down, just wanted to leave a friendly reminder for people that as you finish your recruiting, if you don't use all your time, please set "Ready to Advance". Because of the change to the OD interface, we can't see who has/hasn't used their time.
Also, Oneback, it appears that through "User Teams & Coaches", you can go in and change who your team is, and I presume you could change anyone's. Looks like you don't have to delete, then re-invite this year.
I definitely want to play West Virginia next year, because those bastards have taken away a good bit of the players we were battling for and I want them to see what they could have had lol
I just want to let you guys know that with 4 games left on my schedule I fully intend on winning the NCAA Rushing title this year. Michael Cox may be behind Eddige George by 300+ yards at this point and it will all come down to that game. Illinois and Purdue aren't going to be able to stop it. We'll see about Wisconsin and Ohio State. Penn State stepped up to the plate, tried and failed. Just know Eddie George, Michael Cox is coming for you! LOL
I actually don't want the rushing title with Clay, particularly because I'd like for him to return for his senior season. Granted I have Ball coming back next year but if I could have Clay, then I could potentially redshirt Ball next season... will just depend on how the offseason shakes out though.

Mr Williams has something to say about that
LOL, I was waiting for that response.
Having Penn State and Michigan in two of my last three games pretty much kills any chance I have of winning.
I just noticed today I have Wisconsin and Ohio State as my last two games. Talk about killer to finish the season.
Welcome to the Big Ten.
In the test dynasty I threw up there to test switching teams, Virginia Tech defeated Boise State in Week 1, 28-27.
VT scored 21 points in the 4th quarter.
Including a 75 yard fumble return with :42 to go.
Ouch.
Can I get a refresher on setting D-Line to Aggressive? Is this a yes or a no?
I think the decision was that there was not a decision. I think it was something like 4 for it, 4 against it and 4 that didn't really care. I have noticed in CPU games that the CPU always has D-Line on Aggressive, the only thing that bothers me about it being on agressive is that an already broken play-action game gets even more pointless to attempt. Now I have heard that EA plans on fixing the issues with play-action in the patch so it may be a non-issue once that happens.
I am on that is in the camp of it doesn't matter to me. I have faced it agaisnt the computer and in random online games and it hasn't hurt my offense that much, I however unlike last year haven't used it once and haven't seemed to be hurt by the fact I am not using it.
I messed around with it a little last night and tried to remember to use it in situational downs and distance. Like 3rd and long or 3rd and very short. I actually liked that idea even though I really saw no difference it just made me feel like I was calling a defensive game plan a little more. It doesn't matter either way for me either. I can use it or not but I think I will continue to use it like I did last night in the SBCOL.
is that the reason the CPU gets insanely fast pressure majority of the game, because of agressive D-line?
Title Patch #2 is out. I am going to do some testing tonight to see how this effects the slider set and will let y'all know.
early reports from online games has people saying that aggressive DL is alot better now and they are getting alot of offsides calls :)
Yeah, it seems as though there is actually a penalty for having your D-Line set to aggressive.
