EVERYONE! Since I've started this thing, this past month was..by far..the most combined trophies we have all gathered together(unless I miscounted :P). We(and when I say "we," I mean V) only accomplished 2 platinums, but together we raked in over 520 trophies. Damn.
Also, I want to point out a couple "wars" we have going on that are going to get interesting over the coming months. JB was finally able to overtake cdj for the 3rd spot, but is only 3 trophies away, so that should give them both some incentive to whore some. ALSO, Jeff refuses to be overtaken by the hard charging clw. After back to back months of watching clw climb closer and closer to that 8th spot, Jeff put together his best overall month in terms of number of trophies(again, unless I'm miscounting) and retained 8th.

I am now on a QUEST to overthrow Jeff in the 8th spot. Hopefully, with new TW; Nascar and MLB The Show I can rack up a ton of trophies this month. I am also going to attempt to finish off/Platinum NCAA and You Don't Know Jack in April.

Yep. I'm really hoping that for NCAA 12 they find a way to balance "difficult" without getting to annoying. I don't mind trophies that force you to play the game often and repeatedly, so long as they're something that can be reasonably accomplished in normal gameplay. I actually don't even mind the 2-star program trophy. The Player Lock trophy is really the only one that annoys me, because of the number of things that have to happen in one play for you to get it. It's a lot like the fight for a fumble in the endzone, you're right.Quote:

The days where I just go out to try to get a trophy that is completely out of the norm are definitely less than the days I just sit down and play. Games like Gran Turismo 5, I'm never going to get a platinum, no way....but there is the meat of the game that I want to get through and then just get what I get. Yeah, the only time I whore trophies is when I'm almost done with the game(usually because I'm fed up) and just want to try to get all the achievements/trophies to prolong the game. There's other games that I will actively try to get a platinum right from the start just due to the huge challenge it provides, just like in KZ2.
I'm sure you guys both read it, but what's neat about that article is that it dove into more detail than just talking about the trophies. It's talking about all manners of collectibles and other games-within-a-game.

- As Peterson's running it back, just stay with the Ball State controller and move guys away from him. Let him waltz in and you get the trophy.
Holy crap that was easy. Peterson picked it on the first play, but my HB was close enough to grab him before I could take control. On the second attempt he bobbled the ball, and the third attempt went all the way.

That's clever. The last 2 years I've just done it this way:
1. Two controllers
2. Pick a cover 2 defense and a streak route on the edge.
3. Move the safety back about 20 yards and to the sideline.
4. Snap the ball and just chuck it deep, all while manually selecting the WR and moving him back.
5. Intercept and run.
I would've gotten it on my first try both years, but the stupid dropped picks got me in both games. I ended up getting it within 3 tries each game though. I'll have to try your setup next year if that stupid trophy is in it.
Yeah, I more or less tried this, but couldn't get the right combination of plays to get the safety in the right position. Too many dropped picks or tackles immediately after INT. The Slip Screen was much easier.Quote:

Even if it's not, from May 1 to about..ohhh..the middle of May, I wont have access to my PS3. While PSN is down, I've been going through my back log of games(slowly). I beat SOCOM 4 multiple times. I've since moved on to Dead Nation since I never beat it on the two hardest difficulties. Beat the first one today, and started on the hardest. Holy. Shit. It is completely kicking my ass on a couple levels. At this rate, I'll have the platinum for it in about 5 years. :D
