However, if Portugal somehow manages to destroy Ghana and/or a combo of a bad loss and a good win by Portugal it could come down to goals scored and potentially even drawing lots b/c there would be no head to head tiebreaker.
In short, if we lose to Germany we should probably root for Portugal to just barely beat out Ghana like 1-0. The games start at the exact same time so the players will most likely not know what results they need. I would expect Ghana/Portugal to be a very aggressive attacking game as both teams MUST WIN to have any hope of advancing so you could see allot of goals scored. In contrast, Germany US could be a more cautious defensive game.
