I completely forgot that they did the name submission thing. I'll have to remember to look for that.

Question...Let's say I want to make the MAC a 12 team conference and move Temple to independent. I'm going to be playing as Akron and Temple is currently on my schedule for week 2. Is there a way to move Bowling Green into that spot so I play BG instead of Temple is week 2?
First of all, thanks to all of you guys for the great vids/pics/info. I used to rely on Maddengaming then OS for my pre release fix but this year I got directed over here and you guys have had by far the best pre release coverage that I can ever remember.
On to my question, while simulating can you maybe give us an idea of how much overall movement there is between coaching positions? If you generated coach names that might be a chore but if you left them at ASU OC/ASU HC etc. it shouldn't be too bad.
If you have an OC or DC position, when you go to play that side of the ball can you still play co-op; as in both players playing a position while 1st player does the play calling?
There's a homemade break-balls method of "customizing" conference schedules that I used as commish with '11, and it's something you might try for '12. Here's how (and guys with the retail version of '12, correct me if this no longer works): you do "internal swaps" of conference teams. For example, if in year one Florida is scheduled to play Tennessee in Week 3, and Georgia in Week 8, if you swap Tennessee with Georgia when doing custom conferences, each team takes over the other's conference schedule and Florida would play Georgia in Week 3 and play Tennessee in Week 8. You wouldn't think it would work, since swapping teams in the same division shouldn't have an effect, but that's the way the custom conference logic worked in '11. Assuming this kind of "conference schedule swapping" still works in '12, the extra pain in the balls is how you would continue to do this for year 2 and beyond (since now you can customize conferences every year). What you would need to do is check another OD or sim ahead in a test OD to know in advance what the conference schedules are for year 2, and then do internal custom conference swaps accordingly before you get to custom schedules. BUT, you have to remember if you swapped a team once before...like, in my example, if I swapped Tennessee and Georgia before year 1, then before season 2 I would have to remember that Tennessee would be playing with GEORGIA's year 2 conference schedule, and so on. It sucked but it allowed me to manipulate conference schedules when starting my OD in '11.
Wow, would have never thought to do that. Sounds like a LOT of work though.
My specific question is in last year's game after the first season was over there would be about 35-45 players transfer to a different school which is normal, but after year 2 (and so on and so fourth) there would only be 8 players that transfer and that number would decrease year in and year out which made it a huge issue. So basically what I am asking is do you see a huge drop off in transfers after the second season and so on and so fourth? Hopefully that made sense LOL.
I have a Custom Conference/Recruiting Question:
Does editing conferences have an effect on conference prestige? if you stripped all the good teams out of the SEC and replaced them with Sun Belt teams would the Sunbelt Conferance be A+ and the SEC would be D-?
What is the teambuilder roster share? I know it said new on the video but never heard what it was
I wonder if this was somehow just missed by the devs, or if there is some reason that they felt it was more difficult than it was worth to make it dynamic, or maybe the NCAA didn't want them to allow conference prestige to change. I suppose it isn't a huge deal since it really only effects the one recruiting pitch, but it's still kinda disapointing. This may affect some people's custom conference ideas where they plan on really moving a lot of teams around. Even some realistic team movements, such as creating the rumored PAC 16 (where Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State leave the Big 12 for the PAC 12) would really effect the prestige of the Big 12 and PAC 12.
A friend of mine's, who I am in an OD with, last name is South. NCAA 11 was the first year that the commentators would say his name. I think it was his favorite new "feature" as it always made him mad that they couldn't say his last name which was also a direction.
And also, do players still transfer within the conference? I'm not sure if it happens in a single player dynasty, but I know it happened quite often in me and my friend's online dynasty. Almost one player per season would transfer between our teams and we were both in the same conference.
I'll try to keep an eye out for these but will probably be sometime over the weekend before I can get to it.
