Regardless of whatever the helmet looks like, that is the ugliest fucking uniform I have ever seen (even worse than Maryland's or anything Oregon has ever come out with), and whoever designed that pile of shit needs to be beaten with a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire.
This weekend sucks! The school I work for lost Friday night, :Southern_Miss: and :Louisiana: lost Saturday, and the :New_Orleans_Saints: lost today.
sad day at work today, as one of my former coworkers lost her battle with cancer. left behind two kids (both less than 10 years old), a husband, and a bunch of friends and family. she was certainly a fighter though; she lived 6 months longer than what the doctors initially said she would. RIP Andrea.
If this is true, that's pretty damn funny...

Ok, it's time for a contest. As some of you may have heard, Touchdown Jesus, a large Jesus statue on the side of I-75 in SW Ohio burned down back in 2010 after being smote by lightning.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ngs_Statue.jpg
The church responsible for the non-Notre Dame version of Touchdown Jesus elected to rebuild the statue, but differently posed, and with a full body. So what names do y'all have for the new Jesus?
http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/x...pse9ed6e9c.jpg
A couple name suggestions I've seen others mention on Facebook include:
- $5 Footlong Jesus
- Fourth and Short Jesus
- "I caught a fish this big" Jesus
- "Come at me bro" Jesus
- "Upon Further Review, the Previous Play Has Been Overturned. 4th and Goal" Jesus
There must be a remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Jesse Ventura is going to play Riff Raff...

Anybody ever use Walmart's Site to Store shipping option? I used it for my TV because it was free and it's a 5 minute drive over to Walmart on the north side of town, as opposed to paying $25-$30 in shipping to have it sent to my door. While it's still not technically supposed to arrive until Friday at the earliest estimation date, it's been sitting in Walmart's Delivery Facility in Coldwater, Michigan since 9am Monday morning.
An hour and a half away and it's been sitting there for three days without any movement whatsoever. Christ, I could have made the three hour round trip drive up to Coldwater and picked it up myself at this rate. I'm really hoping since it flew through Walmart's Sorting facility and got to their Delivery facility so close from me up in Michigan in a mere two days since I placed the order, that it would get here early, ahead of the estimated dates of arrival. I was hoping maybe it would move last night and am still hoping it will move today or tonight and get in town by tomorrow. If it doesn't show up until sometime on Friday, I'm shit out of luck on picking it up until Monday at the earliest and have to leave it sitting there the entire weekend as I won't be able to go pick it up before next week.
I bought a lawn mower there at the beginning of summer. I used it apox. 5 times and it stopped running.
I looked at my recipe and it was 10 days past being able to return it.
After talking to the store manager,
They let me bring it back and sent it in to be fixed for free. Which was nice of them, but it took 6 weeks to get it back.
I don't think Wal-Mart gets in a hurry at all.
Alright, looks like I gonna get lucky and get it earlier than was estimated after all. The tracking page for my order just updated when I refreshed it. Though it took 1-2 hours to actually update on the website, my TV left Coldwater at 12:19pm local time in transit to store. So I very well could have the TV home tonight, as I'm able to pick it up as late as 10pm, it just left Coldwater just shortly after noon, and it's only an hour and a half drive from Coldwater to here.
Only thing that could cause delay is if it's on a dedicated shipment truck coming solely to here, or if it's on a truck for stuff like Site to Store shipments or something that is going to be making stops at other Walmart stores around NE Indiana and NW Ohio. I have no clue how Walmart does their shipping, if their stuff, whether it's restocking merchandise or Site to Store shipments, is put on dedicated semis to each individual store, or if they combine shipments to multiple stores on one truck. I guess I'll find out. Since I'm not supposed to expect an email or text message that it's ready to pick up until around 4 hours after it arrives (according to their site and the emails I have already received), I should know by 8pm or so tonight, accounting for the 4 hour delay in notification and giving the truck a 4 hour period to arrive depending on how Walmart ships their stuff to the stores.
I just had a root canal
definitely the behind the LOS camera view of girls playing football in bras and panties. thats more awesome.
Seriously, if we don't have a PSN/XBLA game in a year or so....
I'm going to sue or something.
The QB is not bad, not bad at all.

Having tackled the UFC and WWE, video game developer Yuke's has moved on to another sport: lingerie football.
The studio says it has snagged the rights to create titles based on the Lingerie Football League.
Yuke's did not provide details on platforms, release date or a potential publisher. The studio's previous titles based on UFC and WWE were published by THQ.
Key phrase in my post "in the next year"

Going to the developers website they seem awfully excited about the game as it is popped up on the main page.

I would not be surprised to see a full retail game, sold at a $29.99 or $39.99 margin. Just happy to know that the possibility o such a game does exist.
Just leaving this here. Makeup is a glorious thing.

They like to throw the ball here in Texas but is a bit ridiculous.

Kinda feel for the QB who throws for 610 yards only to lose the game and have your passing total end up the second highest in the game

Not sure what to say about this, but I guess we can all sing along...:smh:
Well, TV finally arrived today. Walmart's Site to Store shipping is slow as hell regardless.
It shipped from Bentonville, Arkansas to Coldwater, Michigan in, at most, 3 days (ordered the TV Friday morning around 10am, it arrived in Michigan at 9am Monday). It then sat in Michigan from Monday until noon on Wednesday before it finally left on a truck, and then who the hell knows where it was or went from Wednesday afternoon until today, as it never arrived (or at least showed up in the system and was available for pickup at the Walmart here in town) until 5:30 this morning. 42 hours for it to make the 70 mile, 1 1/2 hour trip from Coldwater, Michigan to here and be scanned into the system at the local store.
Talk about ridiculously slow. Next time I order something like a TV from Walmart's website, screw it, I'll just pay the extra $25-$30 and have them ship it directly to my door.
Now that I got home with the TV and have it set up, hooked up and good to go, time to try and squeeze out 4-5 hours of sleep before 16 straight hours of work. Luckily fell asleep around 2am last night and woke up at 5am, so was able to at least get 3 hours overnight. Was about to go back to sleep at 8:30 after a movie on TV was over, but updated the Walmart tracking site for the hell of it and saw the TV was ready to pick up, so that extended my morning by 3 1/2 hours.
I get where you're at Smooth but the issue is that since you're getting it free, they don't want to make it easier/better/more-convenient than paying the shipping fee. I've seen Amazon do the same thing to me with their super-saver free shipping. A DVD will take 7-8 business days to get to me and as I check it, it will sit in one location for multiple days in a row. Just a matter of what's more important, timing or money.
Yeah, I know, you get what you pay for. :D
It was nice having it shipped free to the store and then just simply having to drive out and pick it up, but it was frustrating knowing it was so close by for an entire week and was taking forever to arrive. I also got very lucky, because after this morning, it would have had to be left sitting at the store until Monday before I could make it out there to pick it up. 10am this morning was the latest I could do to go out and pick it up before next week. That's why it was also frustrating for me this week watching it sit, because if it wasn't in town by first thing this morning, even though it would end up being in town all weekend long, it was going to be at least another 3 or 4 days before I would actually be able to go get it.
Luckily I updated their tracking site at 8:30, and was out there waiting for their Layaway/Site to Store person to come on shift right at 9 so I could pick it up and get it home and not have to worry about it anymore.
