Texas is done with position changes.
Miami is also done. Just letting everyone know Miami's LB corp is going to be nasty in a few seasons!
Boise St. is done. We lost a lot of talent, and it's gonna show.
6/8 are done. JB and cdj remain.
I was done, son! Just never shows commish as finished. :(
Training Results:
- Alabama has SIX 99 rated players and 17 rated 95 OVR or higher
- Auburn with a 93 OVR CB and a 91 OVR SS
- Boise State with six players rated 90 OVR or higher
- Florida with two 96 OVR DTs, 13 rated 90 or higher
- Miami with nine 90 or higher
- Penn State with 14 90 OVR or higher players
- Texas with 15 90+ OVR
- Texas A&M with 12 90+ OVR players
On to the CUT PLAYERS stage.
Auburn is ready.
:D I had to cut TWELVE players....I think the most before that was either 3 or 4 ever in this game.
cdj is among the 4 who aren't ready to advance. :P
We are now at the Pre-Season stage!
Auburn is finished. I also edited apparel for some of my players to match real-life and changed 'Cameron' to 'Cam' Newton.
Miami is ready for the new season.
Just waiting on JB and Escobar and then we'll be ready!
We have advanced to week one.
Gators layeth the smackdown on FAU. Runnin' with a new playbook and I think I found one that will emphasize my receivers and QB nicely.
What did you think of the sliders, CLW? I was able to enter in Powerhouse's sliders last night since that was leading in the poll.
PSU blanks Temple, 38-0.
Of note, Penn State has 5 opponents ranked between 1 and 14. Get your cheat codes and Mad Catz controller ready, JB, you're first. :P
For some reason I was thinking that if you changed sliders they did not go into effect until the next week.
If they were the new sliders its probably too early to tell. I thought the pass coverage was probably the same or worse and I thought the CPU run D was improved.
I don't think the CPU pass blocked as well (but it could have just been FAU).
Yeah, everyone is playing crap opponents except the user game and Kingpin. So I'd guess Kingpin will have the best read on the sliders.
I was able to change them during the last week of the pre-season, so they should be in effect for week one. Make sure to post any and all thoughts!
I'll try to get my game in tomorrow night.
Steelerfan....the week one score was directed at you buddy....I read your text :P
Which text? The one to you, or the one to Chris?
Hopefully, you saw this too...
And in case you're unaware of the origin of the "cheat codes" comment, look at the comments on the console in Dynasty Wire for your wins over PSU and Auburn.;)Quote:

While not endorsed by Coach Paterno, I stand behind the decision to send such a text. The last time the Lions opened a season ranked #6 (if I'm not mistaken) was 1986 when they ran the table and picked off Testaverde 5 times in the Fiesta Bowl. You had your run, 2 straight for Bama. It's time for that to end. ;):P:popcorn:
FYI - I have out of town guests/family in for Thanksgiving so my PS3 time will be pretty much non existent until Saturday.
We won't advance the week until late Sunday (like usual) so hopefully everyone has a chance to get their game in.
Great game the other night, Escobar. I really like your offensive style and your QB. I was lucky enough to make some plays when they mattered and I thought that last pass into the EZ was going to be caught and not intercepted.
Yea, me too. It went from looking like a TD to a game-ending pick. I wasn't sure how my offense was going to turn out since I am playing two QB's, one True FR and one RS FR.
Gators DESTROY UAB as the 2nd Team once again played the entire 2nd Half. Florida gave up its first points of the season via a fumble return for a TD.
:Penn_State: 71
:Eastern_Michigan: 0
PSU's D looks dominant in the early season. A week after limiting Mark Ingram to 29 yards rushing, the Lions pitch their 2nd shutout in 3 outings this year. Penn State permitted just 1 EMU 1st down and held the Eagles to -44 yards which included -62 on 20 carries and 2 of 18 passing for 18 yards. EMU was 0 of 10 on 3rd Down.
I just noticed I had an actual game this week. I'll get mine in tomorrow afternoon hopefully.
#1 Miami and #2 Texas about to kick off.
#1 Miami defeats #2 Texas 38-21 with the help of a 24 point 4th qtr. Lamar Miller busted two 60+ yard runs and Senior CB Brandon Harris returned an int back 74 yards for a TD.
Sounds like a great 4th quarter. I saw the box score in the e-mail and wondered what broke it open.
CLW & I couldn't connect last night so we are going to try again on Friday evening when he is home from travelling.
I'll get my game in tonight before LeBronfest.
