Rise Against - Re-Education (Through Labor)
what is going on here....?
anyway, the tune that started it all for the beastie Boys for commercial success. Proving to the world that a bunch of New York White Punk-rockers can do their own version/form of so called rap and make it work...along with the fact that they had one heck of a creative sense of humor  ..which is something most punk-rockers from the 80s had anyway:P

Wow
Ke$ha is one of my guilty pleasures
whats wrong with you people ? she looks like an 8th grader and didnt even write/create what shes doing
I agree on all counts. TERRIBLE fuckin' music, she's not pretty at all, and the video is just silly nonsense for no real reason. I get what they're trying to do, but the director failed miserably at having any type of real symbolism or meaning in his/her video.
Disagree with both of you, she's hot.
And her songs aren't supposed to be lyrically good, it's all about the beat
Old school Drowning Pool today....

Would be interesting what they would have down if Dave was still around
The current lineup with SoiL's old lead singer is great...the past two albums they have put out were money.

Don't disagree but nowhere close to where they were with Dave.
So found this on Wiki looking to see who the dude was right after Dave and this is kind of a weird coincidence
From DP Wiki - Mike Luce replied that "only 3–4 songs were done, including one called "Heroes," which is a tribute to dead rock musicians such as Layne Staley. I don't know if we will ever release them."
From Soil Wiki - well as the "throaty delivery" of Ryan McCombs for dropping its blatant Layne Staley inspiration.
That dude that replaced Dave first .... wow he was not a good fit. He had this Hollywood look and everything....but Step Up was a good song.
LOL, yeah they tried to go all "sexy" with him. Numb was the best song on that album
I'm pretty sure Step Up is the only song I heard on that album.
Can't believe I found it.... Love You Tube

That song sounds exactly what Soil used to sound like. He's pretty much turned Drowning Pool into Soil. As long as it's not the counting song, I guess that's ok.
I gotta say, I fuckin' hated their music, but they did a cover of a Metallica song (I think it was Master of Puppets, but I can't remember right off hand) at Ozzfest when they were on the tour the first time (like 2002 or something I think it was) and it was VERY well done. Too bad they can't write music worth shit...
Mostly everything after Throwing Copper was crap, but I love this song.

Live is from York, Pa... used to see them all the time, why does fame have to ruin most good bands :fp:
