Dumb rule is dumb. Competitive advantage? How about the only team in the MWC that can hang with Boise is TCU. Should Boise not suit up Kellen Moore to make the game more "fair?" If this rule isn't in effect for green schools as well, then it's a BS rule.

I'm happy with that ruling. They can be tough to watch on TV sometimes when it's all blue on blue. I do know I heard a coach say it takes a lot longer to review coaching tape for the same reason. It comes across as petty but it is what it is.
Butch Davis just got fired.
Well at least they have their basketball team.
A little better picture set of the Okie State unis (loads really slow)
Guess they really are the Oregon of the South when it comes to unis now. Fugly is one term that comes to mind.
Nike should be banned from making uniforms. :fp:
Talk about a scare. Browsing the headlines and I see.
Sooners admit major violations, seek probation
Fortunately it was just our basketball team.
If more college teams would do what Oklahoma State has done with this Uniform Combo Creator, it would be a hell of a lot easier to track and correct uniforms in the NCAA Football games.
From the Big 10 Media Days....

The Iowa-Nebraska game has been dubbed the "Heroes Game". 1) if you are naming this matchup, why didn't you do it before Nebraska joined the Big 10? and 2)explain the meaning of "Heroes" in this game? I understand the Nike Kinnick connection...but the full explanantion....wow. :fp:
we may soon be hearing about auburn. about damn time too

Legends/Leaders/Heroes ------ Sounds like one Of Jim Delaney's kids is a big ol D&D fan. :D
Now for the real meaning of the Heroes game
http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/...ay-heroes-game
The schools are taking this "Heroes" tag seriously. They plan to recognize one Iowa citizen and one Nebraskan for an extraordinary act prior to each year's game. Friends, neighbors or co-workers can nominate people for the heroes distinction, and those chosen will be honored on the field during the game and will have their name and hometown etched on the Heroes Game trophy. The schools also plan to use proceeds from the game to benefit the Iowa and Nebraska chapters of the American Red Cross.
The Humanitarian Bowl is no more.
Welcome in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl!
:fp:
What is it with these stupid as hell bowl names?
Anything beats Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl....
That should be changed to the Kraft Cheese & Macaroni Bowl
Yeah, that name is actually better than the Humanitarian Bowl. I mean, you have to be a Humanitarian to want to go to Idaho in December, so it fit, but this title is better.
As for the "Heroes" BS, it says "co-workers".
Maybe JB has a young lady he works with who is a "hero"?

Yeah, I pretty much never say this, but we would not have lost to Iowa if we played them again. That was one of the biggest flukes I've ever seen in my 23 years of watching Penn State.
Interesting concept, but not exactly the most well done simulation, just looking at the results.
LOL, stated concisely, well done.Quote:
Yeah....except for that.
