Burnout Paradise's Platinum requires quite a bit of online play. I wouldn't recommend that as an "easy" platinum.

I'll see if Blockbuster has Burnout Paradise. I'm at 80% with AC 2, I just gotta get the feathers which is really time consuming.
I got it on my own months and months after it released. There's still a HUGE and active community for it, so yeah, it's a very easy platinum trophy IF and ONLY IF you have the eye camera. It is required to get the platinum. I went out and bought it from Gamestop, got the trophy, then returned it. :D
To the person who asked for an easy Platinum.... Legends of Wrestle Mania only took me like one day of game play to get my only Platinum trophy.
Wow, easy platinum. There are tons, but unless you wanna play a kids game then the number gets reduced. Legend of Wrestlemania is a very simple one. Paradise is a GREAT game but it will take some time playing. I sunk over 60 hours in it IIRC. Tiger Woods are very easy IMO and if you like golf, though can't speak for this years yet. Godfather was a fun and pretty easy plat, Ratchet and Clank (if you like them) is easy though takes time as well, Bionic Commando was fun to me and not hard, Dante's Inferno is super easy and fun. Now if you want an easy plat but at the same time have an urge to rip your eyeballs out and SERIOUSLY consider putting a gun in your mouth then Leisure Suit Larry:Box Office Bust is your game!
I still have Dante's sitting here too.
Thanks, I ended up renting God of War 3 and Heavy Rain. I'll eventually get a Gamefly account and really start whoring myself out :D
It's an experience every PS3 owner should have.
I hesitate to call any online-heavy trophy "easy", simply because of how much a person's experience can vary. I can't explain why, but every time I've tried a random online connection in Paradise, I've been booted from the game. Every, single, time. Caused me to give up on Burnout, at least for online.
Aside from the eye toy trophy if you don't have one, they're all attainable in a day or two of playing. There's a lot of created rooms that are even boosting them, and although I didn't do that, I always saw 5 or 6 that were completely full. Even without boosting, I was able to do it in about 2 days. Being on the red and blue teams are easy, doing the challenges are easy once you get a solid group who are willing to do them. About the only really "hard" one is getting 8 people to meet up in Wildcat stadium. Rarely ever does the game get 8 players in the same area, rarely ever does that challenge get selected, so it's extremely rare that all 8 people do it.
Luckily for me, I got in a random group that apparently needed the trophy and we were able to get it after about 10 minutes. I still have the game, so I'll even help some of you boost if you need to. It's really not hard or time consuming to do.
I didn't see this post until now ... it's a great game. Absolutely great game. Though with the added Playstation Move functionality, that might be worth waiting for rather than getting it now ... except you'd be getting it through Gamefly, right? Probably no difference there then.
IOU, are you going to update the list in September or does another whore (pimp?) need to replace you?
I'll still update it for you guys. I'm pretty sure the PSN cards I used last time are auto-updating, so I should just be able to check them and calculate the # of trophies gained for everyone over the past month.
I'll never get a platinum in Tiger Woods :( . I know I could get the gamernet trophies but I probably won't ever get the team play ones. My only chance of getting them were when the game first dropped now that many people aren't playing the game I'd imagine lol
yeah i was gonna rent it. very rarely do i buy a game. just dont see the point in paying 60$ for something im gonna play, beat and never play again. and i have a huge issue with gamestop so renting is the only way i go for 95% of the games i play
