All-conference awards

Just finished up a season about 10 years into an offline dynasty, and had a few oddities in the all-conference selections. The strangest was that a guard who was credited with one pancake all season made second-team all-conference. Must have been a heck of a block...

Also, nearly all of my defensive line made 1st team all-conference despite fairly pedestrian numbers. I used a lot of formation subs, so no one was on the field all the time. My RE made first-team with 18 tackles and 7 sacks. One DT made first-team All-American with 15 tackles and 5 sacks, another DT made first team all-conference with 18 tackles and 4 sacks, and their backup made second-team All-conference with 9 tackles and just two sacks. None of them had more than 1 forced fumble. Plenty of players on other teams had markedly better stats, but were passed up. I've seen a few odd selections here and there, but never quite so many in one season.
