In this quick clip from EA SPORTS, we learn more about Game Track, a new presentation aspect coming to NCAA Football 12.

Similar to ESPN college football broadcasts, Game Track will show game highlights while game commentators (Brad, Kirk, and Erin) will discuss specific game topics. These topics can be relatively simple in context (a great game by a running back) or rather specific (a great game by a freshman quarterback in the rain). Game Track will always appear following the opening kickoff of the third quarter and will also appear during the course of the action to highlight great performances.

A popular feature within the NCAA Football series, Road to Glory enables you to take control of your own destiny from high school all the way to your senior year of college. Unlike a regular game of NCAA Football, you only control your position as you try to etch your name in the annals of your school’s history. Road to Glory has received significant upgrades in NCAA Football 12 and that is in part thanks to designer Alex Howell. Alex has an unmatched passion for the game of college football because he lived his own Road to Glory as a walk-on at Auburn. Getting to know Alex over the past few months, you can easily see the passion he has put into this mode this year. EA SPORTS has posted a HD video showing more of the Custom Conferences feature in NCAA Football 12. In the video, Designer Ben Haumiller walks users through the Custom Conferences feature which is different than how it was implemented in the past by creating the once-rumored Pac-16 Conference.

This year teams can be moved to other conferences without a one-for-one swap (with only a few conference size limitations). Users can also set conference rules such as Conference Championship Game location, the week conference games begin, division names, and protected cross-divisional match-ups. In addition, BCS bowl tie-ins can also be adjusted. Custom Conferences is available in Dynasty and Online Dynasty mode and conferences can be re-arranged after each season of play. In an effort to say good-bye to NCAA Football 11, we'll be holding a site-wide tournament. Additionally, due to the outage of the PSN network at the time, this will serve in place of the tournament we had planned for our one year anniversary. Just a fun tournament, this will help us test our newly implemented tournaments & ladder system for the forum and give us a taste of something of the things we hope to do in the next year for NCAA Football 12.

We have tournaments for both the PS3 and the 360. To register for the PS3 tournament or for the 360 tournament, click the link for the tournament you want to join and then below the description, you'll see a button to "Join Tournament", click it to join.

The tournament will kickoff on Friday at midnight. The matchups will be drawn at random. Players are expected to play with basic fair play standards, I think most of us understand that but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Games will be played as ranked games using 5 minute quarters, teams will be up to the two users to decide... if you both want to use powerhouses, feel free; if you both want to use cupcake teams, feel free.

As mentioned, this is a Farewell to NCAA Football 11, One Year Anniversary, and Test Tournament all rolled into one. We hope to do more with this throughout the next year including not only tournaments but also a year-long ladder system. Let us know any feedback as we progress through the tournament but let's have fun with it and best of luck to everyone. ...
