• College Football 26 - Band Locations Review

    The College Football development team has stated on the record that 'each team is someone's favorite' as they implement team-specific details etc. With that in mind, many CFB fans enjoying following the process of details getting added to the game. From uniforms (current & throwback), to team entrances, uniforms, stadium intricacies, player equipment, rosters, et al., fans track what gets added for their favorite team each year and in Title Updates.

    Back in January 2011, the NCAA Football team reached out to the community for help on determining the proper band locations for each program as well as for bowl games. With community members from the EA Forums, Operation Sports, The Gaming Tailgate, Tradition Football, and Twitter working together, the project was completed in less than three days; most of it in one afternoon. (Special thanks at that time also went to to Owen Good & Kotaku for highlighting this community project.) It was truly a shining example for how community interaction can be channeled properly towards the benefit of the title.

    With that in mind, TGT has taken a closer look at the band locations for all 136 FBS programs. EA has stated in pre-release efforts for CFB that each band has been placed in their exact section, however that is not the case.

    It's worth noting that TGT makes no promises or claims that EA will use or even see this feedback to improve this team detail. However, it could be beneficial for fans to politely ask or request school accounts/representatives on social media, for example, to work with EA on correcting for future versions of the game by noting any inaccuracies.
