Season 2 Week 1

Season 2 is now underway. There are no UvU games this week; deadline is 9/24. I've made some changes to the sliders using a set similar to Oneback's set used in Powerhouse... I'll be posting those shortly in the rules thread.

I will get my recruiting in tonight....as I have a bye week. My wifes sister was over last night so I didn't have a lot of time to get on the PS3.

I'm starting two true freshman on the line and I can't trust them to knock someone on their ass in the running game. I'll be using a lot of short/quick passes in place of a steady running game. I'm also working on a little something in my offense that will at least be interesting, especially in UvU games. Arkansas State ran it this past weekend and it caught my attention... still trying to find the best formations to run it from though.

I get my first win since taking over Troy late last year in a weird score. 19-11....my MVP will be my FG kicker. He's awesome...FG's of 28, 40, 37, and 47. My D-Line was getting some great penetration to stop Navy's option attack.

I spent an hour going through recruits last night trying to settle on 10-15 worthy...man are the recruits a lot different than those in Powerhouse. I am still working on recruiting, if I am holding things up please let me know and I will just stick with what I've got and finish out my 10 hours.

I don't think your holding it up OB. You better believe that recruiting with a sub par team is a lot of fun. You have to really outwork someone to land some good recruits.

Yeah the last time I recruited with a subpar team was the first year of Powerhouse when I was North Texas, but that was NCAA 09 and recruiting has changed quite a bit from that time.

Yeah the last time I recruited with a subpar team was the first year of Powerhouse when I was North Texas, but that was NCAA 09 and recruiting has changed quite a bit from that time.Funny enough, I developed my current recruiting strategy on NCAA 09 ... probably in SBCOL, though maybe in Powerhouse. And I've stuck with it ... and you guys have seen that it still works pretty well, lol.

Today: til 5PM est
Sat & Sun: I get off @ 7AM and will be home around 8AM est. If we can settle on a time I can sleep around the game til 5PM est.
Mon: I get off @7AM, I don't work again til Wed night so I can sleep around UR schedule.
