2K confirmed the console version does not include the PS Camera or Kinect support this year, so users who want to scan their face must download the My NBA2K17 mobile app, which releases on iOS and Android on September 8.
In addition to the face-scanning tech, the app features the ability to win VC points daily (the virtual currency used in NBA 2K17), a MyPlayer shop for perusing console items for your created baller, a MyTeam Mobile collectible card game, and the ability to buy and sell MyTeam cards via the auction house.
