Yessir! Can't wait!

I've beaten ME 1, 2, and 3 at least 10 times each and I'm not exaggerating.

I have all the achievements for ME2 and ME3 but noticed a few weeks ago that I didn't have them all for ME1. The 2 achievements I needed are for beating the game on the hardest 2 difficulties. I finally beat it on Hardcore today (2nd hardest difficulty). Now I need to beat it on Insanity (hardest difficulty) then I'll have every achievement for the entire series.

I finally beat Mass Effect 1 on Insanity difficulty. It wasn't really difficult at all outside of Krogan with the Fitness skill which made them essentially unkillable until it wore off. There's no Platinum equivalent on 360 but if there was, I'd have a Platinum on ME 1, 2, and 3. I'm ready for Nov. 7th as that's N7 Day and it's when the hype train finally leaves the station.

Gears/Uncharted shooter (no climbing) with a lot of RPG elements in terms of conversations and powers.

The amount of fap material I got from this video is innumerable. I absolutely LOVED ME3 MP. It not being PvP but PvE made it infinitely more enjoyable than any other multiplayer I've ever played. This game will be #GameOfMyLife

That trailer looked pretty awesome actually. Kind of reminds me of Destiny in a way but an RPG. But it's also a lie as that title says 4K and yet there is no 4K option on the video on Youtube.

I'll have to try again later but 1080p was the best option for me early this morning. Not even 1440 and I don't normally have problems. Horizon Zero Dawn had a great 4K trailer.

The combat in that trailer looked really good. Jet packs, guns, shields and I think one trailer showed fire. Sounds like a lot of options. I need combat to be fun in RPGs or I can't deal with the tedious aspects of those types of games. Is this combat similar to previous games in the series? It sort of looks like Destiny in third person which would be a good thing imo.

I can't speak on how close it is to Destiny but the series has always been a 3rd person cover based shooter a la Uncharted and Gears of War. The shooter mechanics were wonky in ME1 but were so much better in ME2 that I recall many outlets made it the GotY. ME3's combat was easily the best and I can tell that this combat is a refined version of the combat from the ME3 MP. There were 6 different classes in the series that each have a different playstyle. The trailer featured the Vanguard class heavily and its trademark power, Biotic Charge and the end of the trailer showed a glimpse of the Infiltrator and its trademark power, tactical cloak (the invisible sniper). My favorite class is the Sentinel which is a hybrid is the Adept and Engineer classes. I did play and beat each game at least once with every single class.

I guess the jet packs are new and this game isn't supposed to have rigid classes. You can upgrade across all of them and get bonuses if you stick to certain trees but you can respec yourself later to change it up too. DAI let you do that within your class but you couldn't change specialization you chose later either. It was more rigid. I was also reading you have missions like the DAI war table along with defence missions that DAI cut out. I just hope those missions are more important and not as tedious/filler.

Yeah, I knew about the classes thing but didn't want to make the new stuff confusing for those unfamiliar with the series. It's supposed to be much less cover based as well. The combat in the trailer shows just how wide open combat is suppose to be now. The trademark skills like biotic charge and tactical cloak are still specialty skills if you spec deep into certain trees.

I never played online shooters until ME3. I also hate FPS games and much better at TPS games. I still wouldn't play something like Uncharted MP though because I'd essentially be target practice for those who put in the hours being ultra-good. With ME's MP being cooperative instead of competitive, I feel a lot more comfortable playing online. Even if I'm the worse player, I feel like I'm accomplishing something working with people as opposed to against.

New IGN trailer here.

https://shar.es/1DD0S9

Deeper look at some of the RPG elements shown for the 1st time in the trailer. The way powers upgrade is straight out of ME3 but being able to change class on the fly, having only 3 powers active at once (as opposed to around 6 or 7 with bonus), and having powers charge by holding the button are differently all new.
https://youtu.be/Ce88o_lUqUc
The lack of active powers hurts my Sentinel and Engineer playstyles but for all other classes, I rather used more than 3 powers.

I hope it's easier to understand than crafting in DAI. It wasn't until the end of the game before I understood how it worked.

I'm guessing so. It took me quite awhile to figure out how to exactly improve certain armour and weapons in DAI too. After awhile it became easy but the learning curve for certain things in RPGs is overly daunting for newcomers.

Did you finish the Trespasser DLC story line in DAI?

DAI Crafting help:

CRAFTING - To upgrade weapons or armour you must switch to the character who has the weapon/armour equipped at the modify station (Haven, Skyhold or select camps/keeps). If nobody is using a weapon or piece of armour then anyone can upgrade them. To create new weapons or armour you need to find schematics or buy them at merchants.
Runes can be created through crafting (if you have the design) and then used to upgrade weapons. You can replace an old rune on a weapon with a better one but that will destroy the older rune. They give you a boost in a specific category like killing Dragons, Demons (demons/undead), or doing extra damage in fire, electricity, ice or spirit. Some confusion - Corrupting Rune does extra damage against “living” things (humanoids, beasts, and animals). Cleansing Rune does extra damage against “corrupted” things (red templars and darkspawn).

Armour – Some armour can be worn by any class but many have restrictions. Heavy armour is for warriors, medium for rogues and light for mages. Armour can have their arms and legs upgraded. Apprentice/Mage/Enchanter are light armour upgrades for mages. Scout/Hunter/Prowler are medium armour upgrades for rogues. Defender/Vanguard/Battlemaster are heavy armour upgrades for warriors.

My primary reason for getting the deluxe version (besides being a fanatic) was getting access to those exclusive weapons. I got the special edition of ME3 which also came with exclusive weapons. Bioware included them in multiplayer but never released them in single player. They were arguably the best weapons in the game or at the very least, in the top 3 in every weapon class.

Man, I'm so pumped for this! I know I'm going to play through this at least twice. At least once with BroRyder and at least once with SisRyder. Going by how I played the previous games, I already know I'll do no less than 2 playthroughs with each. I'll always romance Liam with Sis and Cora with Bro as I never liked interspecies banging in ME games. I did have my Vanguard romance Liara through the trilogy but that's only because it was written into the lore that Asari have magic mind sex powers that all species in the universe find irresistible. Once you could start banging Turians, Quarians, and Drell, I think the series went into pandering/fanfic territory. Also, now that melee weapons are a thing, I'll squeal like a schoolgirl if the Omni shield from ME3 multiplayer is an option.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170127/ac30d477d608ffd0aeeef6742cf27fce.jpg I absolutely LOVED smacking the shit out of enemies with that thing in multiplayer. I really can't contain my excitement for this game!

Good is an understatement! That looks amazing! When the player jet packed, hovered, cyrobeamed, and then biotic charged........that was beautiful! I'm sure I said it somewhere before but my favorite thing to do since ME2 has been to freeze enemies and then blast them with a shotgun. Now it may become freeze and then KROGAN HAMMER into a million pieces! Oh man does this game look amazing!

I like the different load out options. Gives you 12 options in the field although you have to pause between the three sets and only use 4 at a time. In DAI you had 8 plus a basic move through using L2. I often wanted more of my moves mapped to the controller but you had 9 abilities without pausing. Not crazy about the pausing but I do like the cool down penalty.

I wish DAI let you do that for the rogue so you could switch between archer and daggers. ME is a lot more flexible in character builds and the moves look cool. I'm getting pretty excited for this game. For some reason I think Horizon may end up third between this and For Honor.

I'm doing my final run through the Trilogy. I'm already done with ME1 and I'm on ME2. I can get through 2 and 3 before the 16th when early access hits. This game will be so massive that I'm not even sure when I'll even get to play MP after release. It has all the signs of a 100+ hour time sink because I'm a completionist. After the 21st, I may never be seen or heard from again.

Seeing a lot of complaints about animations and voice sync stuff. For a dialogue heavy game some find the voice sync and dialogue issues so far. Big open world games usually need a couple patches. I may hold off on this game for a bit and dig into HZD. I actually cancelled my pre-order this morning since Amazon starts processing pretty fast for release day shipping. Good early EA Access impressions will honestly push me back into the pre-order but bad ones will push me to playing Horizon first.

Also, the game uses an auto cover system so some people will be annoyed.

It's like they are summing up the greatness that is EA Glitches in FIFA. Bioware is based out of Canada and the FIFA series is developed by EA Canada. Coincidence? :D

This would be the one that would bother me most if I was actually going to buy the game. It looks more lifelike and natural in 2007.

Yeah, the facial animations, voice sync and some other animations are really getting hammered. The good news is the combat is generally viewed as good which is big for me. It's almost incredible that the 2007 version looks so much better. That should not happen. Definitely mixed reviews on this game.

This shows a lot of those glitches and issues with the game as well: http://thisgengaming.com/2017/03/15/mass-effect-andromeda-is-full-of-awkward-and-reused-animations-performance-issues-and-glitches/

This is a positive post of the beginnings which compares it positively to DAI (which I liked): Some positive early impressions that compare the game to DAI (which I liked): https://pageturnersinc.wordpress.com/2017/03/16/my-first-3-hours-in-mass-effect-andromeda-no-spoilers/

So, I had no intention of using any of my 10 hours on single player. Well, what had happened was........I was sitting in front of the tv just getting ready to play when my wife walked in, wanting to talk. Not about anything in particular. Just general conversation. Well, I didn't want to be rude so I put YouTube on to play in the background while we conversed. After awhile, a MEA Character Creator video came on and she watched it and gave comments on the player's custom Ryder. After awhile, she said, "Oh, make yours!" So she sat on the couch while we tried to make versions of ourselves as the Ryder twins. Then, she said, "Now you gotta play it to see how they look." So I started the single player campaign. She watched me play the Prologue and then she went to bed. I kept playing. Now I'm at the first open world planet. The game is flat out fun. Fun enough to where I don't notice facial animations. I, personally, haven't seen any jank either. But yeah, the game is fun and as far as I'm concerned, that's far more important than having every animation be pitch perfect.

I'm hearing enough good things about the actual combat and gameplay that I'm still looking forward to this game. But I think I will play HZD first and wait for some patches to iron out things in this game before buying. Not gonna lie, the reviews on Monday could push me back into buying right away.

Averaging 75 on Metacritic. Patches may smooth out some rough spots. It does sound like the game should have been delayed to fix some things.

I thought the Gamespot review did a nice job of showing both pros and cons. I think it's overall score is harsh but the message solid.

Ended up getting the game. I only played a little into ME1 so I don't have much of a basis to compare based on the other games.

So far I think the combat is fun, and the animations don't bother me like some marks that would give the game a 0 just because.

The story itself is interesting, I think they did a good job of explaining what the main purpose of the game is and the fact that I'm just barely scratching the surface after about 6 to 8 hours of play.

I've 100% four planets so far. Here are some tips.

1) The only mandatory thing to do on a planet is to unlock the main Remnant vault. Don't feel like you have to do everything (but do everything :) )
2) Don't buy weapons and armor. Craft them. While the crafted things have the exact same stats as store bought and looted weapons, crafted stuff can have augments that make them better overall.
3) Deconstruct all the weapons that you aren't using. You'll need the materials.
4) Get good at Sudoku :D
5) Don't spread your points out as you level up. You're better off picking a main 3 at first and getting all the passives. You can also respec your points in Dr. Lexi's med bay (at the cost of credits). Make sure that you have at least 1 primer and 1 detonator in your list of skills. If a power can do both, that's even better.

Last I checked, the hour count was 175 hours. I have no idea when the next patch is coming out. Reading the initial post on what the patches were going to be, I don't need to wait for it. The game isn't broken. Whatever it is, it's more of a refinement patch, not a fix patch.

I played for just over an hour tonight. My biggest criticism is the inability to save. I remembered reading that and it IS annoying. I've gotten killed a few times and this last time I lost 10-15 minutes. I had killed some aliens, then found a ship and explored it. Came out, got ambushed and now I have to find the ship again. That's just stupid. I hate checkpoint systems that are long like that.

I do like the story so far. I have no clue about the weapons stuff I'm picking up. The game only teaches to hold L2 and then shoot with R2 but it never explained L1 which is apparently shotgun? The weapon wheel reminds me of DAI but I'm not sure what to use or the incendiary pack or something.

I like mini maps! Not a fan of the Skyrim direction thing that HZD and ME uses. I greatly prefer DAI. They should have mapped a short cut to the dpad like DAI (left). Hitting option then X to get the full map could be quicker.

Either way I'm intrigued and lost at the same time. I'm pretty bad at combat though. It almost feels first person as suddenly a creature appears and I have no clue where I'm being attacked from lol.

I've never played Mass Effect. As a newb is this a good entry point or should I save my money and play Mass Effect 2/3 on EA Access? The reviews (not just facial scans) are pretty bad across the board in regards to gameplay mechanics, lack of saves, repetitive quests, sloppy physics, wonky graphics, etc.

Rudy

I wouldn't say the reviews are bad. I think the game got 75-78 on metacritic. The game was the butt of many jokes over facial expressions and maybe it failed to meet the hype but I think mediocre reviews are more in line.

I'm a newbie myself but I won't be playing the older games.

Is there a way to zoom out the camera more? Sometimes it feels like an FPS because I can't see that much around me.

Also, what goes on with health? Does it auto regenerate or can I get something to heal during battle?

Just figured out the jump and fist smash move. This game certainly doesn't explain itself to you. Much like most RPGs I expect to be confused a lot at the beginning. I still don't know exactly what L1 does.

You don't need to play the original trilogy (but it's always recommended). This game is a soft reboot of the series. You'll miss out on some Easter eggs and callbacks but nothing that'll effect the main story.

It didn't get bad reviews. The reviews seemed bad based off of people's expectations. People were expecting a 9.5 game and got a 7.5 game instead. Some of that criticism was legit but a lot of it was bandwagon internet overreaction so it seemed worse than it actually was. Plus, people are comparing 1 game vs. 3 prior games and wearing a lot of rose-colored glasses about how "perfect" the first 3 games were. People seem to have forgotten that the main reason everyone loved ME2 was that it was a DRASTIC improvement over ME1 in terms of gun gameplay (although ME1 told a FAR superior story).

L1, R1, and L1+R1 are your powers/skills. Check your skills in the pause (Options) menu.

No, you can't zoom out. This is the closest the camera has ever been during combat in the series. It was explained by the developers that it was intentional to put you into the combat and make it more frantic, especially in wide open areas.

Health is 3 sections. It only auto-regenerates in the section it's in. Not the whole thing unless you find a health box. It looks like an ammo box, only its red. You can get a passive that allows you to regenerate health by using a tech power in the Tech tree.

I have a feeling RPGs will be terrible at explaining how all their systems work until the end of time.

I think the story has been solid so far (I just got to the Nexus). The one review that totally trashed the first 5 hours of the game was very off base imo. I'm getting used to jumping, being able to hover in the air and using circle to slide. But I need to figure these powers out. The UI in terms of journals and inventory management is not good imo. But learning those systems has always sucked initially (DAI, W3, HZD, etc).

I just spent 1.5 hours yesterday morning just wandering the Nexus (it's huge, need to figure out where everything is - a lot like Skyhold in DAI), talking to people, trying to solve a murder case and trying to solve the problem of who is sabotaging the equipment. Finally got to my Tempest (ship) and quit for the day.

This morning I checked out some of my skills and bought a shotgun. I added the shockwave, the shield thing and a bomb thing and removed concussion from my active skills. Not sure if that was wise or not but that's what I did to my skills. Almost scared to spend more of my points to upgrade in case I'm picking the wrong things.

I was wandering EOS and this game easily confuses me. Wasn't sure if I could drive through the radiation with the Rover. Of course I accidentally extracted myself from the Rover directly to the Tempest and flew back to the space station since I didn't realize how to get out of the Rover and thought the triangle did it (still not 100% sure how to get out of the Rover). So I had back to EOS and can't find the Rover. Didn't know I had to summon it from a work station. Ugh. I spend a lot of time not accomplishing a whole lot lol.

You really can't go wrong with skills. They all have utility if used right. I'm not a fan of combat skills primarily because they use power cells (which are limited) as opposed to Biotic/Tech powers which recharge. What profile are you primarily using? Tell me that and I can give you a workable build while you figure it out you may want to use.

Also, if you didn't know, you can respec in Lexi's lab.

You should definitely load up on all the passives in all 3 disciplines. Max out Combat Fitness, Combat Tools, and your main weapon. Definitely get TurboCharge. I'd suggest getting Invasion and Energy Drain from Tech. Invasion is the best debuffer and Energy Drain can restore your shields/strip shields, as well as be specced to prime and detonate. You'll probably want to use the Infiltrator profile to get better cooldowns for your Tech powers.

Started playing my 10 hour EA Access this morning. 6 hours later I turned the game off! This game is a lot of fun. Outside of some characters with wonky eyes and some weird movements from characters the game is solid. New to the seriesw and am only intro level combat but the game is a lot of fun. Right now I'm on EOS. The game doesn't do a great job explaining where to go so my progress has been slow thus far.

Use the journal to help with knowing what to do but I have largely been just following the star markers on the map. I haven't been doing much free exploration. I doubt I'm much farther than you.

I actually haven't found the facial expressions after the patch to be bad. But the internet storm certainly hurt the sales.

I still think this game, and some RPGs in general, have too much going on. Makes it very hard for newbies to figure out what to do. Overwhelmed by a lot of things still. The early reviews were too harsh though. The game is solid. Saying the game is Mass Effect Inquisition is also fair as there are a lot of similarities which helps me a little.

I agree that there is a ton of stuff going on. I'm completely lost with upgrades et. al. I love the exploration but I really struggle with the map. That style works in Fallout but with the elevations in this game I would prefer the traditional circle in the corner map.

I think this game will take me a long time to finish because I die quite a bit! I accomplished very little this morning after dying about 4-5 times and shutting down on EOS. Couldn't get past this one Kett firefight. One time I got stuck under a ship or something and couldn't get out.

Seriously, I upgraded my Shockwave (like the first 2 levels only) and it sucks. Doesn't seem to do much to be honest.

Not yet. I've just got bombs, barricade and shockwave. I should probably remove Shockwave then. I don't have a combo that should work together yet. I think I just need to invest in combat fitness to get more health points first. Quite frankly the barricade hasn't really saved me much yet either so maybe I should bring back concussion.

Very minor spoiler:

I was getting killed after investigating the one site and powered a computer. The Kett came in with a large beast. I killed that thing but kept getting killed by their soldiers. Their armoured guys were hard and I was getting flanked after awhile.

I'm not a fan of your build, especially for a newcomer. You have 2 power cell powers and a power that has little synergy with. I'm not a fan of barricade in general as there's always more than enough cover and it's best to be as mobile as possible. What's your primary profile?

I'd substitute Pull for Nova. But other than that, that'll work.

Also, put points into the Barrier passive. Level 6 Barrier has Saving Barrier which gives you a full shield when your health is at 25% once every 10 secs I think.

Edit: Also, don't invest into weapon passives if you don't use them. Concentrate on your shotgun. Keep a pistol as a side weapon. Skip assault guns unless you want to start using them. Otherwise. Get the other Combat, Tech or Biotic passives.

I was disappointed but I used that time to redo Habitat 7 and really explore it now the I was comfortable. I did it as the opposing twin the 2nd time too. I have only played with the patch but I don't think the faces are bad with it. It's a non issue for me. The game looks good but the draw in speed is not. Bushes and shrubs will pop up out of thin air while you drive and relatively close. I'm assuming the Pro would handle this better but this aspect is not good graphically.

Need something new to play so I am going to give this a shot. Watched some gameplay footage and the combat looks pretty good and it seems to be fairly lengthy.

I think you will enjoy it. I really wish the game explained itself better. People shouldn't have to rely on Google to learn how to play a game. Even the fonts on the icons are small and don't help lol. The game basically throws you into the deep end and your life guard is Google.

So far it has been fun. It does a lot of things fairly well but other games do those things so much better. The cover system is kind of questionable so far and the boost jump stuff just feels off compared to a game like Titanfall 2. It is early on but I can see playing it all the way through since the combat is pretty well done and the wealth of options on how to go about defeating enemies looks promising. You are right about the fonts. I find that more annoying than any animation jank. It's like they tested it two feet from the TV and said okay, this will do.

I spent 20 minutes just trying to find out where the f'ing Nexus was this morning. Damn this game pisses me off by making things difficult. I don't know which system it's parked in. Just give me a quick button to get there from the Tempest for crying out loud.

I found one thing that has helped a ton. The graphics setting in the options menu. Turn the Film Grain and Chromatic Aberration off. I had all the Chromatic Aberration I could ever want from Dying Light. Worst filter ever. Film grain is not much better.

Example of Chromatic Aberration in Dying Light, which was the biggest abuser of this.

I just switched that stuff off myself. I think it does look better but either way is fine. The game overall looks good.

The story mission on Voeld was hard. I died a ton on Normal. Maybe I wasn't levelled up enough yet. And the game is merciless with some checkpoint repeats.

I started playthrough #4. I've done 2 with Scott and this is my 2nd with Sara. I should get the last 2 trophies that I'm missing to earn the Platinum on this run (Solving 20 Remnant puzzles and 3 different romances across all playthroughs). Last night, playing around with powers, I finally settled in on the perfect build for my Explorer profile Sara: Invasion, TurboCharge, and Backlash with Pathfinder X armor wielding a Revenant X, an Isharay X, and a Cryo-Gauntlet X. All weapons and armor are crafted so Sara is a complete badass. It's amazing how fast I obliterate Fiends after hitting it with Invasion and then a hail of TurboCharge bullets. And it's awesome to pull up Backlash in front of an Anointed and watch him, more or less, kill himself with reflected bullets. It's great for that annoying Observer laser too.

I started playing Mass Effect 3 last week. It has a great story but I'm not a fan of the movement, combat, etc. In my short time with Andromeda I feel the game is light years ahead of part 3. That's literal and figurative...

If you think 3 is stuck in the mud, play ME1.

ME3 is my favorite of the originals. People will swear by ME2 but I don't think ME2 does anything better than 3. A shame that the ending overshadowed such a good game.

But yes, MEA is a far more fluid experience. Sad that the internet is overreacting to its mostly legitimate flaws in my opinion and not giving enough credit for what's done right. I can't take anyone serious who hates on MEA's story but praises ME2 to high heaven.

I have not heard that name mentioned in the game so far. Is that something relevant? Do I need to watch a video with the backstory for the previous games?

I just wanted to shoot things and romance creatures from outer-space.

Honestly, when you do get around to playing Zelda. That stuff arises yet again.

Good luck figuring out how that is going to work.

There are a couple of trilogy Easter Eggs in there but nothing vital at all. You don't need any knowledge of the trilogy to understand anything in Andromeda. Shepard is brought up only at the very end of a quest. I'll spoiler tag the quest but with no knowledge of who Shepard was, it's the most non-spoiler-y spoiler there is.

If this game would just patch in checkpoints after you finish a wave of enemies or let you save when you want I would be less frustrated. Fighting a Kett compound on Voeld and complete wave 1 but die wave 2. I hate how this game makes you re-do it all from scratch. Most games I have played don't force you back to square one (like Uncharted).

Which is really weird because ME1 had long periods of no checkpoints and people complained about it. ME2 and ME3 would save for literally anything. Before fights. After fights. Pick up a weapon. Open a door. It oversaved. Weird that they'd go back to the ME1 way of saving AND take out manual saving. At least you could save anytime you wanted, outside of fights. You had to be "safe" in order to save but you could do it any other time.

It's a good game but I can tell it was made by the B team.

Sometimes in Uncharted 3 I remember being annoyed that every time I paused the game it would be auto saving or something. But I would prefer that over repeating myself too much. Especially since I'm not that good at combat apparently lol.

They are practically giving this game away. On sale again for $20C. They must have had a lot of stock sitting in warehouses.

Didn't they move members of the MEA team to Anthem or another project? Not shocked at no DLC.

souljahbill

I'm not shocked but I'm hella disappointed by the No patches/No DLC announcement. Patch 1.09 brought the game to a really good place (1.10 was a MP-only update). A LOT of the issues people complained about are gone. I'm on my 9th playthrough so it's obvious that I like it. The launch created a lot of bad blood between EA Bioware and it's fan base, a VERY passionate fan base. Don't be surprised if they hold grudges when DA4 and Anthem come out. If EA thinks Bioware fans are gonna be excited for MP updates through N7 Day (Every Nov. 7th), they don't know their customers. Bioware fans don't play EA's games for MP. They're SP/story people. There are too many storylines left unresolved in MEA that were obvious DLC or sequel-bait so if they drop Andromeda when another game comes out, they'll be even MORE backlash.

Disappointed to hear that about the DLC.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. Stayed up a little too much later than I planned to and probably should have as it screwed with the timing of my sleep cycle, but I managed to get to the point that I'm back on board the Tempest, ready to leave Eos and head back to the Nexus.

I finished the game awhile back (and have Cora as my main squeeze, with Peebee and someone else ??? (forget who it is... reporter on the station). The game was a solid title. The one thing I did grow tired of was the repetitive nature of the vaults. There is definitely a great sequel fore this game. That's for sure.

After 95 hours of gameplay, I have officially beaten Andromeda. Finished the Meridian missions last night, and finished the final side missions just now, visiting Keri and Drack on the Nexus and heading to Habitat 7. That is a clean sweep, every mission, every side mission, every task (at least that I can find/discover) , all planets 100% viability (and then some).

I ended the game at level 67, got to level 25 1/2 for Nexus AVP, ran an Infiltrator build my first playthrough, making it to Rank 6. I got Soldier and Technical both to rank 5, I never even actually touched Biotics this playthrough. Ran with Turbocharge, Remnant VI and Overload, which went well with my crafted Hesh VIII shotgun that was augmented with cryo ammo.

I'm sure there were better weapons that I overlooked, but I fell in love with the N7 Eagle pistol, X5 Ghost (and Sandstorm) assault rifles, the Hesh shotgun and the Black Widow sniper rifle and pretty much carried those throughout the game, crafting newer and better versions as I researched them.

For romances, went no strings with Peebee for some zero gravity fun, had some serious flirting going on with Keri (Nexus reporter) and the Angaran researcher chick that you hunt down Angaran artifacts for, also had a temporary thing with Vetra. For my first playthrough, I ultimately went with the vanilla Cora romance for the full committed romance, but future NG+ playthroughs I'm planning on Keri, Vetra and Peebee for Scott games (maybe Suvi if I'm able to remember to talk to her as often as you apparently have to for a romance) and then Liam, Jaal and maybe Vidal with Sarah.

Suvi is a lesbian so she's only romanceable by Sarah.
Keri's romance is YouTube material. There's nothing to it. There isn't even a romance scene.

Aside from that, how'd you like it?

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkAh, that would explain why I seemed to hit a brick wall with Suvi as Scott after a certain point.

And I really enjoyed it. It's got me itching to go play Mass Effect 1-3 on EA Access now. I'm definitely going to be playing the Andromeda story again. I probably won't go quite in depth with the tasks and side missions (it took me a long ass time to finally clear everything on Voeld with how many damn tasks and side missions there are on there), but I plan on doing enough in future playthroughs to get all the help in the final mission that I had this time.

Fuck me those cutscenes in the final mission were awesome. Hell, the entire final mission was fucking sweet. The battle in space, all hell breaking loose around you on Meridian while in the Nomad, watching all the allies you built up come to your rescue, the efforts to save the Hyperion (and Captain Dunn in my playthrough) and all the aerial firefights as the other pathfinders, Vidal and everyone else shows up. That entire mission and sequences were awesome to watch play out.

I see you are still playing this game. Did you ever get into Destiny? MEA is on sale for C$9.99 right now. I just haven’t had time (or great desire) to give this a second chance. Maybe when I finish Detroit I could play it but I am more likely to go back to GOW and replay Detroit. Then September comes with Tomb Raider and Spider-Man. Plus RDR2 and NBA and so many good games.

That has been my rule as well 99% of the time but Destiny is a bit different. It’s easier and more laid back. With big environments it isn’t as confusing for me.
