Though, despite some saying a CFL game by EA is "implausible (https://twitter.com/pastapadre/status/759206389222936576)," Madden devs did make a CFL game internally several years ago (https://t.co/cVisfFxs9I). My takeaway/impression is that they would make or release one if they thought demand would be there.

The demand would be up there with an Ice Skating Simulator. Thanks for the clarification.

I just can't see the demand for a standalone game. Maybe a deluxe package or DLC option. Just hard to see where the profit would be. But I could imagine people enjoying the extra passing.

I have heard this rumour for close to 10 years. That being said... I would preorder that bad boy as soon as it was announced. 92 Lions and Doug Flutie all the way!

Madden Mobile currently has a promo with former CFL/NFL greats and CFL teams have been promoting it via social media today. I don't know if a CFL game is in the works, but there is definitely some sort of relationship (marketing for sure) between EA & the CFL.

A Be-A-Pro type deal where you work your way through college, go undrafted, then go to the CFL would be pretty cool.
