WVU and Coach Jackson win their 1st game 45-17 against #19 Florida

Not knowing what to expect on either side of the ball, coaches' are pleased with how the Offense and Defense played.

On Offense, QB Smith led the way with over 300 yards passing, 3 touchdowns thrown and 1 ran in. The run game was solid behind Kendrick's game high of 53 yards as it is still being tweaked.

The Defense was a surprise as they created pressure and forced 2 turnovers, both of which were fumbles. The team racked up 5+ sacks and limited the Gators through the air, although they only threw the ball 10 times.

Some things need worked on but pleased with the 1st game, especially on the road in the SEC.

Next week the Mountaineers host ECU
