Editing players in Online Dynasty

What's the trick? I can edit my own players, but every time I try to edit another team, I notice there's no "updating ____ Depth Chart" status, and then when I advance the week the change wasn't saved.

When are you trying to edit? Once you have already started the season/dynasty?

Think you have to do it to the roster that you plan to bring into the Dynasty first. Not sure if I've ever tried to edit another team once the dynasty started already.

They added the ability to edit players while a dynasty is active a few years ago. In Powerhouse, I can edit Kansas players and it saves. Editing anyone else doesn't save. I was hoping someone here would know the double secret method to get it working.
