Horner has all of the makings of a future stud. With great speed, good strength, and all-around (albeit raw) prototypical linebacker skills, he'll a major key to the Red Wolves defense eventually.

Expect Horner to redshirt his first year but after that, he may be thrust into a significant role.

With great speed, and very good zone coverage skills, White will be an excellent deep Free Safety, though hopefully he won't have to play up near the line with his lack of tackling skills.

With a starter already in place for the next few years, look for White to redshirt to allow him to be the heir apparent.

With QB the absolute weakest link in the Red Wolves offense, Pino was a big signing. His throwing skills immediately make him the best passer on the team. While his running skills aren't quite up to snuff to master an option offense, he does have enough running abilities to keep defenses honest.

Franklin is the epitome of a speed rusher at DE. With good speed and very good abilities to get off a block, he'll be a great addition for the Red Wolves in the future.

For now, expect Franklin to redshirt as a true freshman but will need to be a starter his second year on campus.

With Martin's great speed and tackling ability, he's ready to hit the field as soon as he makes it to campus. He's a great player to play either up in the box to stop the run or play deep to run with speed receivers. He'll likely play both roles in his first season to help fill a gap at FS.

Hendrix is an all-around stud at receiver. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for in the ability to catch any ball thrown his way as well as the ability to run over small defenders.

With two solid starters in front of him, expect for Hendrix to redshirt his first year on campus but then have a big role for his following two years.

Hendrix received no other offers.

Davis is a nice grab for the Terps who will be teamed up with Sophomore Adam McLean (83) for years to come, but also provides depth to the position.

No other schools were in the running.

Huffman is a great addition for the Terps who brings balanced blocking to the Line. He will redshirt his 1st year on campus due to being behind some already solid upperclassmen. He will lead the Oline however after his redshirt season.

Huffman received offers from Louisville and Kentucky

Black is less developed than Huffman, but still has potential to be a solid RT for years to come. He will get a much needed redshirt his first year on campus and could see a position change down the line to Guard. Given his quick feet and ability to get to the 2nd level, that is just what he may need. The ability to play both positions would be big.

Black chose Maryland over Penn State and Pittsburgh.

DE
:3star:

#38DE
Perkins is a solid addition to the Dline in which he may be starting as a Freshman next season. He has the ability to get after the QB and track the run down in pursuit.

No other schools offered Perkins

:3star:

#28QB
Harrison was a late addition to our board before he committed. Scouts liked his ability to run either a Spread attack offense or Multiple based attacked with the Terps' OC recently installed past 3 games. He will get a redshirt his 1st year to develop even more into the kind of QB the coaches think he can.

No other schools were in the running, however the next closest was Cincinnati who had no interest.

CB
:3star:

#32CB
Coley was 1 of 2 CB's the Terps are aiming for, both of which are needed with 3 starting Seniors graduating at season's end. He has some things to work on but may not have much time to do so as he likely will be put into a starting role of some kind right out the gate. This isn't ideal but the Terps may not have another choice.

Coley chose Maryland over Ball State, Central Michigan and North Carolina State

TE
:3star:
#374
#22TE
Coaches are ecstatic about landing Walker as he gives the team a huge presence at the TE position with great receiving ability and run after catch as well. Walker will likely start out of the gate for the Terps year 1 and be big part of the Offense. His OVR will not wow many, but a deeper look at his size, physical abilities and receiving capability make him a nice addition.

South Carolina and Georgia offered, UCF was closest school but did not offer

Brooks was our top target, mainly because he has the ability to play either RB or FS. He is a bit underweight for what we would like in a RB so he will most likely start out as a FS. He has time to develop as the FS position is stocked for the next 2 years as Elvis Dennah still has 2 years of eligibility. However the coaches have options to move guys around so Brooks could see action his first year on campus.

Brooks received offers from Houston and Virginia.

Ball was the 2nd CB targeted for the Terps and a needed get for CB depth. He has the ability to start now but needs to work on some things before being a full time starter. He could see time as a Freshman however with the lack of depth at the position.

Lawson was a big grab for the Terps as he can play either Safety position. He will most likely be started off as a Strong Safety due to his ability to play the run. He still has some work to do to see the field regularly so he may redshirt starting off.

Syracuse was the only school to offer to Lawson

Boyd is another WR who coaches are excited to get. He has the size and athletically ability to be the big bodied WR in the future for the Offense. He will redshirt his first year on campus and hopefully provide the team with a down field presence. He has some work to do with his hands and release off the line.

With HB starter Johnston White set to graduate after next season, coaches were insistent on finding a future replacement for his speed. With HB Turner only a Freshman this year, they needed a compliment to his power and Hunter is a perfect addition. While not built as an every-down back, he'll definitely be a great change of pace back.

With a slew of players ahead of him on the depth chart, Hunter will likely redshirt though he may become the primary return man.

As with Pino, Fernandez was a very important signing to create competition at the weakest position on the field, the Quarterback. Built like a tank, Fernandez could play a bruising HB but with the ability to throw the pall around a bit, coaches are debating where he'd be most effective. Coaches give will give a strong consideration in the offseason to determine where Fernandez will fit.

If he plays QB, he'll have a high chance at starting on day 1. If he plays HB, he'll redshirt to become the heir apparent to Turner.

How is he just a 65 OVR?
They pick a position to rate them as, though not necessarily their best position, and he's likely rated as a LB. Same with my HB Turner last year.

In TeamBuilder, he's a 75 at both QB & HB.

Another solid addition for the future of the ASU offensive line, Fisher is a perfect candidate for Left Tackle. However, he also has unusual speed for an offensive lineman which could allow him to shift over to a Fullback position.

Believe it or not Ryan was an big grab for the Terps this season. Reason being as the team had to field a walk-on Kicker this season who lacked the power to kick anything further than a 40-yd FG with help from the wind. Ryan's accuracy can be worked on, but coaches rave about his leg power giving the Terps something that lacked this season.

Unsure if I could have held them this late if I had more points or set their visit date later but couldn't risk it.

I was competing with ULM for an OLB and I was bleeding points throughout the season. However, it looks like they must have dropped him this past week (his visit week yo ULM). As a result, they lost 13000 points and now I'm ahead of Tulane by 3200 points, meaning I should sign him after this week.

I was worried I was going to have to give him all of my offseason points as he's a pretty significant signing.

Sent from my LG-D850 using TapatalkThat's interesting. Agency, JB and I have all been competing on an FS for at least half the season, and a similar thing happened there. Tulsa had a Week 12 visit, had the lead in Week 13, then in Week 14 they dropped him and lost 8805 points and the lead (though Agency was catching anyway). Now the three users are all within 1,000 points of each other and it'll go to the offseason.

I wasn't recruiting him until a few weeks ago either, but I think I got in a couple weeks before you, lol. He's an interesting prospect. Should be perfect for a 3-4 DE.Yeah when I added him you hadn't offered a scholarship or anything, didn't even appear you were showing interest.

That all changed though as soon as I offered him and threw max points at him...you offered him the following week lol. When I started after him, thought to myself "maybe I can slide one over on Jeff and he won't realize me targeting him" haha

I'm good at the DE spot but I had a rack of points left so I started looking for guys to add reason I started to go after him.

That's what I think about everyone else most of the time :D You're right that I was slow playing him, but I was also paying attention to everyone else. I don't remember if I put max points in him specifically because you had targeted him, or if it happened to be that I finally ha some extra points to spend.

I'm not "good" at any spot, so I needed him :D

I picked up a nice one early in the season so I didn't need to target anymore DE's. I use to go for stocking up but in the past I had to cut either recruits or solid guys doing that lol

With current MLB starter, Kyle Wallace, set to graduate after next season, ASU coaches were high on wanting to sign Holmes to become the heir apparent stud in the middle. Holmes is essentially a prototypical MLB with no weakness in his abilities.

With Wallace graduating, Holmes will redshirt for a year to get better before being forced into the starting role.

While Arkansas State didn't sign their stud OL that they were competing for (Sean Lane, 77OVR), they instead signed a very good project OL in Chris Anderson. Anderson has excellent size and good all around abilities including very good strength and Impact Blocking. He'll need to work on his overall blocking skills but in due time, he'll be a stud in his own right.

Anderson will redshirt for a year but will likely need to contribute heavily his second year due to graduation after next season.

Burrell is a nice addition for Arkansas State for the future. With good speed and strength, he'll make an excellent Defensive End in the run game. His ability to get off blocks needs some work so he'll redshirt his first year on campus.

Arkansas State's kicking game hit 100% of FGs in 2014, however, coaches were not comfortable with the leg strength of William White and as a result, they sought out someone that could boom the ball. That's where James Davis comes in. With exceptional leg strength, he'll be a big improvement in the kicking game and will start immediately.

Davis received no other offers.

Wheeler is the epitome of a rush Outside Linebacker. With great speed, good strength and a good ability to get off a block, he'll be a great addition for the Red Wolves as they hope to transition to a 3-4 in 2016.

For now, Wheeler will likely redshirt to work on his abilities to find the ball.

Wheeler received no other offers.

With current Punter Hunter Holmes set to graduate after the upcoming season, and with an extra scholarship to offer, coaches decided to find Holmes' replacement this year if they could. Lott has the same booming leg that Holmes does and without the need for accuracy as a punter, he'll be very good when called upon.

Lott will likely redshirt his first year on campus to increase his leg strength, though if roster spots become limited, Holmes may be cut and Lott called into early duty.

What excited Arkansas State coaches about Dykes was his ability to make the tough catch with a defender right on top of him. He's not flashy otherwise, but that attribute alone may make him a star sometime down the road.

For now, Dykes will redshirt his first year on campus to work on his general receiver skills.

Bush will be in the mix to get carries right out the gate his first year. Coaches don't have the luxury of sitting him out for a season as there are only 2 HB's on the roster right now. Ideally would love to redshirt him but not in the card his 1st year.

Penn State was also in the mix for Bush

A couple highlights from this year's Kansas class:

http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac330/jeffhc/2014_Fred_McGuire_zpsuxlhhyqb.png
McGuire is a :3star: ATH that will play SS for the Jayhawks. He has impressive top speed and decent coverage skills. He also possesses a keen ability to find the ball. Jayhawk coaches hope to redshirt him in Year 1.

http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac330/jeffhc/2014_Michael_Massey_zpsnmb7dyfi.png
Massey, whose cousin Loren already plays DE for the Jayhawks, is a very strong, but not agile, player. He has good skill at getting off blocks and should be a good DE in the Jayhawks 3-4 defense. He will redshirt in Year 1.

http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac330/jeffhc/2014_Anthony_Chavez_zpsaau3uxqd.png
Normally a 63 OVR player would not be a highlight, but Chavez's blocking skills set him apart from all other HBs in this year's class. With the Jayhawks focused on the passing game, Chavez will see the field in a pass protection role. He will redshirt Year 1.

http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac330/jeffhc/2014_Mike_Gray_zpsozetntdh.png
Mike Gray is a good all-around MLB, and was just the kind of player the Jayhawks needed to find this season.
