Sadly when someone gets seriously injured. The courts in pre-season tourneys are not much better as they put stupid stickers with ads all over the court and every year I see at least one player bite it slipping on the logo.

His contract was up at the end of the season and it was not expected to be renewed but it's good to get official confirmation. He really hasn't been a good coach. We need to follow the same model as our football team... hire a young, exciting up & comer to rejuvenate the program.

Looks like a long season in Lincoln. The defense is fair but Nebraska's offense is probably in the bottom 1/3 of all of college basketball.

As for :Duke: they clearly miss Jefferson I'd slot them anywhere between 15-18 but they could slide further. To say they should be unranked your either a hater or have zero knowledge of the state of college basketball this season.

After declaring for the draft (and finding out he's not that great) and returning, he waited until yesterday to announce he is going to transfer again, this time as a fifth-year graduate transfer. :fp:

The team wasn't going to be all that great this year, but probably lost any chance of a post-season appearance with him gone. (Though, if he was more focused on himself and going pro versus the team, maybe it's better he is gone.)
