A trailer for NBA 2K16 at Gamescom shows off all the game features. We'll update this if/when 2K officially releases it.

- It's not a good sign that this trailer had zero mention of the college teams in MyCareer.

- My concern is that Spike Lee is using (Hollywood) rejected ideas in MyCareer. A character named 'Frequency Vibrations' (aka Freq) in a mode entitled 'Livin Da' Dream'...I would say some bad ideas floated through. Hopefully those were the only ones.

Not surprising in the least that MyCareer just became a joke. Spike Lee can't create shit in Hollywood, so figures anything he'd touch in NBA 2K would turn to shit. What the hell was 2K thinking letting his ass in the building?

Agreed with Chris. As soon as I heard "Frequency Vibrations", any interest I had in Spike being involved in 2k went away. That's just stupid.

Not knocking them here, but NBA 2K does/adds things that they know will make a marketing splash and having Spike Lee involved achieves that big-time. (They aren't the only company doing that, but I think they may be one of the biggest offenders and it really doesn't get said much.) I've seen a lot of media sites talking about Spike/NBA 2K16 when normally the game wouldn't even be on their radar. For them, getting that coverage is goal #1 and if the mode ends up great and/or popular, even better for them.

It's a small thing, but I laughed seeing Harden playing in (presumably) Rucker Park in that clip in full Rockets gear. I guess they can't/won't put NBA players in other gear/clothing? I hope he washes that uni every day.

Sounds like typical Spike Lee trash. :fp: Thanks 2K for fucking up my MyCareer mode.
