So I have my original PS3 controllers from back in the day, the black ones, they are smooth and just seem very sturdy. Well one of them has been taking to the wood shed by my rough kids.
I've bought a newer controller, I say newer, it's probably 2-3 years old now. It's a blue one. I don't care for the cover/case it's not smooth like the original black ones. It is a Sony dual shock controller, just feels rougher than the original black ones.
Is it possible to buy the original black ones that have that smoother finish? I know I can get used ones at Gamestop but worry they won't work well. Has anyone had any luck with the newer black versions?
Maybe I'm nuts but the overall quality of the older original black ones seems more sturdy, more substantial. The newer blue one I have feels cheaper made.
Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gus
