I emailed Ben to see if he can shed some insight. In the years we've played, Snoop and I have never had this problem.

That's my initial thought... Either playbook, uniforms (not using dlc are you?) or something weird with your roster.

I'd suggest next time to try using generic playbook, default uniforms (maybe even older ones) and even resetting your depth chart just to throw everything at it.

I thought I remember seeing something of that nature, can't remember tho. I know my old OC went to become the HC at South Alabama.

Only thing I could think of. I know the same issue we had, was the same one I had with Ole Miss 2 seasons ago.

That's just awful. We are having a magical run this year so far and it would suck to throw it away because we can't win a simmed game. My team isn't strong enough to compete with the big dogs at this point. Guess we'll just have to see next week.

It's happening to everyone in all dynasties right now. Ben is going to try to have someone look at it asap, but with Madden in alpha right now, it's uncertain when.

It's been happening in the TGT OD.From what I've seen in the TGT OD, there's been a few players that have never been able to connect, despite other players being able to connect to both. That could be what's going on here, because I don't know the last time you played either Skip or Snoop successfully. But I remember Chris mentioning that to the NCAA team when we were all in Orlando, so sadly it's nothing new. But the fact that you're unable to connect to either of your first two user games, in your first season with a new team, is strange to say the least.

EDIT: I completely forgot you were playing in the Big Ten earlier in this dynasty, so you were able to connect to Snoop just a few months ago. Now, granted, the game's general stability has decreased since then, but the fact that you're now unable to connect to Snoop, after repeated attempts, suggests that something else is going on.

So .... (not so) funny that we mentioned Ole Miss a few times here ... JB's OC was Ole Miss's OC on the original roster that we used to start this dynasty. So whatever was screwed up for Ole Miss a few seasons ago could be/is most likely/must be what's stopping JB from connecting. I'm guessing because, from what I understand, JB and Snoop were able to connect for a random Online game, but not the OD game. Also, Skip said that the problem he saw with JB is the exact same as with Ole Miss ... I don't know how exactly the game is failing, but if Skip says it's the same, I'll trust that he knows the symptoms.

FWIW, Hugh Freeze (original Ole Miss HC) is now the OC at Arizona State and Dave Wommack (Ole Miss DC) is now the HC at Tulsa.

Yeah both G and I had the same issue against Ole Miss where the game would freeze at or after the 'Ready' showed.

G took them off our schedule the next season.

But the same issue that I had with JB was the same with Ole Miss

We never fixed it so we can't be sure. My theory was always that they had a user's former OC/DC but Jeff said he looked through the OD and they had the same OC/DC as the rosters started with so that theory wouldn't be correct.

The only guess at this point is that perhaps the Ole Miss OC was somehow corrupted when we started the OD.

You can't join as an OC for a team that already is user controlled.
