2018 LSU Tigers
LSU comes into this season after another 10-3 season looking to build off of that. The team lost some very important starters from that team, but has hope that the future and this season will be bright with some promising recruits hauled in.
Returning is Heisman and Maxwell winner QB Josh Brown who had a solid season despite throwing 17 interceptions. He will be looked again to lead the team this season after getting better over the offseason. Both of his favorite targets are returning in WR John Davis and Mackey winner TE Mark Brooks.
The Defensive side has quite a few question marks in the Secondary as it will feature 4 new starters.

The entire Backfield is intact from a year with Randall leading the way. He is coming off a 1,000-yard season and will be relied upon to get the bulk of the carries, though with the new OC that could change game to game. Freshman FB Mark Brown will be starting right out of the gate as he will bring some athleticism to the position that has been lacking the past 3 seasons. Holiday will add a change of pace, which the run game will also be complimented by Tom Morgan when he gets in the game.
Lynch was a prized grab for the Tigers as he will be the RB of the future. With so many talented guys in front of him, he will be redshirted to preserve his eligibility.

Davis was unable to secure his 3rd straight Biletnikoff award as the Offense change a good bit last season but he still produced some solid numbers and helped the younger WR's out to learn the Offense. The WR corp is mostly made up of Seniors so WR will be a point of emphasis in recruiting, but coaches have high hopes for Matthews next season if he gets better like anticipated. Pittman will likely be a return specialist in the future. Both will redshirt their first seasons on campus.

A relatively "inexperienced" Offensive line on paper, but everyone on the Oline has started atleast 13 games in their careers. Both Kelly and McKinney were starters during their Freshman and Sophomore years. They have been switched around from position to position the past season to provide depth to C and RG. Now they find themselves starting again in different positions. With 3 Seniors set to graduate though some new guys will need to be brought again this offseason. Levine coaches hope will pan out after his redshirt year. Same for Bryant as well.

The until will need to play together and fly around the ball looking to make plays. More importantly just make sure they are doing their job. The future looks bright though as 3 key recruits were landed last offseason and will redshirt their first year on campus. Coaches look for them to make an impact altogether next season, especially Myers. He could possibly see a move to SS depending on how other players develop.
