I think I'm leaning towards staying in tonight with college football starting, so maybe 8 central could be cool....

Arkansas State comes back from down 33-10 with 3 minutes remaining in the third quarter to defeat Florida International 38-33 and secure the 2010 Sun Belt Conference title. In the game, not only did the Red Wolves struggle early, but they also lost three key players from the offensive side for likely the season. ASU QB Ryan Aplin returned from injury this week after being out 7 weeks only to go down to injury again, this time for the remainder of the season. ASU's replacement QB during those 7 weeks, QB Aerion Williams, served admirably despite the offense having to be re-worked... he went down to injury for 7 weeks himself and will miss the remainder of the season. Added to both of those losses, ASU HB Derek Lawson went down for 6 weeks and he as well will likely miss the remainder of the season.

QB Andre Smith, the black sheep of the Red Wolf backfield, played well in his appearance this game completing 11/21 passes for 239 yards with 2 touchdowns. Many of those yards came on a 73 yard connection to WR Allen Muse who broke four tackles on the run after the catch before finding the endzone. That connection sparked life into the Red Wolves on both sides of the ball as the ASU defense didn't allow a single point for the remainder and the ASU offense secured the huge comeback victory.

With the win, Arkansas State improves to 11-1 (7-1) and win the 2010 Sun Belt Conference title securing a bid to the New Orleans Bowl.

Good game JB, the Hilltoppers were able to hang on for the win against Troy. Led by a strong rushing attack and the performance of the year by thier QB the Hilltoppers got back to .500 and are now bowl eligible. While there is little to zero chance of a bowl game, the staff is happy with how far they have come during the year.
