LSU unable to finish comeback fall to Miami 51-41

Down 31-3 in the 1st half after the unstoppable and perfect Canes' scored time and time again, LSU got within 3 late in the game but fell short of the comeback.

The Defense was plagued by repeatedly piss poor coverage from sufficiently rated CB's. Yet were constantly beat on the simplest of routes by 8-10 yards every snap. The Miami QB only threw 2 3 real incomplete passes...1 was picked off, 1 should have been picked off and the other was hit while throwing. The others the WR's simply dropped but were wide open for huge gains. At one point Kaaya was 16-16 with 3 touchdowns.

LSU pretty much abandoned their gameplan after getting down early and QB Josh Brown's inability to throw a 5-yard crossing route to save his life his first 7 attempts, he went 0-7. Then all of sudden he became the most accurate passer miraculously.

The run game was non-existent other than Brown given room to run early on as Randall was stuffed.

Brown had a solid but rough outing, throwing 2 interceptions though 1 was a late hail mary attempt. He also would lose a fumble in the 1st half to compound the early struggles. He finished 26-45, 404 yards with 5 touchdown passes.

John Davis hauled in 9 receptions, 160 yards and 3 touchdowns.

LSU will try to regroup next week back home against Escobar-led UAB.

Kicked Virginia's ass, and then my PlayStation froze during the upload. Looks like the game result saved though. Too bad, because the opening kick was returned for a TD, and it was a pretty good highlight if I do say so myself.

Miami was pretty tough, and when the robo QB...reall tough.

Didn't think too much of their ratings, but I guess they really are between 95-97 in everything lol

Alabama is still 99 across the board though

G you accomplished what you set out for during the schedule making process lol. This week has been brutal for 3 coaches so far. My QB was hurt twice in the game but came back both times.

Notre Dame punches the Trojans in their mouth

Notre Dame started the scoring early and never looked back. John Rowe, Notre Dame versatile QB, kept a read option in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead. USC was forced to a quick 3 and out, which was followed by a 36 yard Notre Dame field goal. USC was forced into a punting situation on the next drive and ran a fake pass which was completed for a 17 yard first down. With momentum on their side, USC quickly gains two first downs and then throws a 67 yard pick 6. USC’s back up QB Victor Powell found Victor Wallace on a 31 yard post route for USC. Notre Dame did not sit back as they punched one in from 3 yards. With their back against the goaline, Joe Clark kept the ball for a 15 yard first down, followed by another Pete Wallace touchdown. Notre Dame kept pouring it on, with Clay Johnson catching two TD’s from 28 and 8 yards out. Joe Clark found George Williams from 29 yards out with 1:08 left in the half. Notre Dame returned the kick for 48 yards, and promptly punched in another score with 24 second left. On a last effort ditch, Joe Clark found Gary robinson on back to back 40 yard passes, and with 3 second in the half USC scores again.
USC opened the second half with a 10 yard pass, and completed a 2 pt conversion to be down 45-43. Notre Dame’s defense never backed down as they scored 2 defensive touchdown and HB Chris Cunningham punched in a receiving TD and rushing TD. Notre Dame finished the contest 81-50.
