LSU throttles Tennessee 65-21

This game started out in LSU's favored and continued that way all the way through. After a Corey Mitchell interception, the LSU Offense started to reel off 27 straight points until the Volunteers finally got on board with a score.

Tennessee would score another 2 touchdowns before the game was over, but never got close enough to pose a threat in the game.

LSU's Defense played a solid game despite the yardage given up. The Tennessee QB was harassed all game being sacked 6 times, losing the ball via fumble and throwing 3 interceptions.

On the offensive side of the ball, another good outing by QB Jeff Mosley who for the 2nd consecutive game did not throw an intercetion...which is a first. His accuracy was rocky and his receivers dropped some passes but he finished 21-37, 277 yards with 2 touchdowns.

RB Donovan Gray continues his successful run carrying the ball 32 times for 198 yards and 6 touchdowns. WR John Davis battle an injury but still contributed 186 yards on 12 receptions for 2 touchdowns.

In recruiting news LSU was unable to reel in any players, and dropped out of the running of highly touted Athlete Robert Reed who kept dropping us on his list in favor of Penn State.

Next up for the Tigers is a game against Texas A&M

Snoop's game is last for the week. He's going to play tonight after he gets off work... I probably won't be up so plan on an advance tomorrow morning.
