Ohio State and Texas will face off in a New Year's Eve Eve showdown tonight at 10 pm.

Three interceptions by the young Ohio State quarterback were the difference in the game as Ohio State falls at home in a 17-14 defensive battle.

LSU's Offense (QB was finally able to get back on track) though he threw another 2 picks in the process

The Tigers beat up Texas Tech 66-20 after losing to Oregon last week.

LSU used a swarming Defense that blitzed the Red Raiders before they knew what hit them. The Dline and LB's generated surprisingly successful pressure, then the Secondary was able to make some plays on the ball for timely interceptions. Sophomore CB Gil Bryant came up with 2 and All-American CB Sean Schroeder dropped what should have likely been 4 interceptions by himself.

Freshman LB Justin Cole continues to impress coaches as the LB had 4 tackles, 1 interception for a TD and 1 fumble recovery. His pick six gives him 2 on the season already.

On the Offensive side Jeff Mosley was back to his fairly accurate ways going 15-21 with 205 yards, 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. All 6 of his TD's would go to star WR John Davis who hauled in 10 catches for 162 yards to go along.

The ground game continues to improve as the Tigers went for 275 total yards on 43 attempts. Donovan Gray led the way with 166 on 23 carries and 2 touchdowns.

Next up for LSU is a date with Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg in what will likely be a tough game.

All games are played. Jeff & JB have recruiting remaining... they'll both be completing them during the day today and I'll advance.Everyone is done believe...well I think he had 200 points left earlier

That's what I was thinking. I got excited when he became #1 on my board, then I said oh shit, we're still limited.

Yeah, I had a guy I had added last season, scouted, got very excited and started dreaming up ways to use him ... then noticed he was 5-star the next week.
