We're now at Coaching Carousel.

Most retained their jobs, however Escobar & psuexv were fired. Escobar is on the clock with an offer to be Pitt's DC. They're too highly rated (91 OVR) so he'll have to jump on and decline the job until he gets an acceptable job. I'll wait to text him around 10am.

What if they just retired and re-joined as the Existing coach at their school? That should avoid the XP glitch because the coach already exists. Just a thought. I know we didn't do that with JB last season but I thought about it since then.

It's possible, but unlikely IMO, that they would get a high enough ranked coach to benefit from the change.

I'm fairly sure that based on the settings we have, you have to create a new coach when you join.

That one cannot... EA in their infinite wisdom made some of the settings only available when you create the OD.



I'm going to be in & out throughout the day. I've texted Escobar to tell him he's on the clock, that he needs to get on ASAP, and he cannot accept a job higher than 80 OVR. Eric will also have to get a new job if he plans to stick around the OD. I'll check back in this afternoon to see where we're at.

Eric is now on the clock with an offer to be Fresno's OC. Fresno is 77OVR so he can take it if he wants it. I've sent him a text to accept or decline.
