Anyone interested in playing, I run a league through yahoo for the last 2 seasons. Me and Chunky are playing from SBCOL and possibly PEARICE. We currently have 18 people and I pushing for us to get 30. I know of 5 people already that will sign up that hasnt yet. We have weekly winners and end of season winners....here is run down of league....this is a cheap form of gambling for all of us who like to pick winners!!! Let me know if you interested and I can send you a link.
Well we are under 2 weeks away from the start of college football. I have gotten a few emails and text about when I will be sending out the invites for the COLLEGE PICKEM CONTEST so I decided if the interest is up now, might as well get the ball rolling.
Same rules will apply as last year. We will be picking straight up and not against the spread. We will be using confidence points to decide how confident you are in your selection, if your team, wins you get all the points that you gave them. Your lowest score will be thrown out.
The entry fee will remain at $100. For 15 weeks of watching and have a chance to win $$$ from watching football this is not a bad price. I will take all the entry fees and split it up in half...half for the weekly winners and half for the end of the year pot. So if we end up with 20 players we will have a $2,000 pot which we will split up and have $1,000 for weekly winners and $1,000 for end of the year winners. We will pay out 1st(60%), 2nd(30%), and 3rd (10%).
You can pay your entry fees a few ways. First, you can just give them to me when you see me if you are a local guy. Second, you can mail them to my house or you can use pay pal for all of you guys that are out of state. (Our winner was from out of state last season). All fees will need to be in my hand before the start of the contest.
I would hope that all of you play again and hopefully each of you can find one NEW person to join in the fun and of course build up the POT. If you know more than 1 person that would like this game, lets get them signed up. If people do not want to pay the $100, tell them to partner up with someone and go in it together and they can split the fee. The season begins in 2 weeks I will get back with you guys as we get closer.
Any questions dont hesitate to ask!!
Thanks,
Jake Dueitt
