Ohio State wins their sixth in a row behind a dominant performance on both sides of the ball, even if the scoreboard doesn't reflect it. The Maryland defense did their job as well ... well, at least in the red zone. The Terrapins held the Buckeyes to six field goals, not yielding a single touchdown from the end of the first quarter until 1:04 left in the fourth, despite three Ohio State drives inside the ten during that span.

Between the 20s, well, that was a different story. Ohio State racked up 481 total yards, including 330 yards on the ground on 58 carries. Maryland's offense was so thoroughly dominated it managed only 131 total yards, or only 66 yards outside of a single fourth-quarter touchdown drive when the game was already out of reach.

Quarterback Marcus Avery led the offensive attack, completing 82% of his passes for 151 yds. Avery also ran the ball 20 times for 146 yds and 1 TD. He was complimented by freshman surprise Kris Davis, who had 23 carries for 110 yds and 1 TD.

Defensively, no one player stood out for Ohio State, partly because the Maryland offense only ran 32 plays. It was a group effort, with four different players notching 3 or more tackles. DE Barry Lloyd, OLB Ryan Perkins and CB Nate Cox all tallied a single sack, with MLB Matt Charles getting two.

Marcotte it'll probably be until Sunday night that I can play. Possibly tonight but would be late if at all.

Bye weeks suck... especially when they're back to back with this group of slackers.I felt legitimately bad for you when I realized that you missed those two games, then followed that with two bye weeks. Ouch.
