Maryland takes the Big 10 Championship in a hard fought battle over Iowa. The Terps looked terrible early getting nothing going on offense and letting the Hawkeyes drive right down the field repeatedly. However, three key stops deep in the red zone held Iowa to FGs, keeping the score at 16-7 Iowa at the half. The ground game got going in the second half, leading to a lot of time of possession and enough scores to finish with a 24-16 win. The Terps finished with 314 on the ground, ignoring a failed passing game that was only able to get 53 yards.

The win caps off an undefeated season and punches their ticket to the BCS National Championship. The fans in College Station anxiously await the final BCS standings to see who they will face.
