WEEK 8: :Oakland_Raiders: (4-2) @ :TB_Buccaneers: (1-5)

The Raiders travel to TB to take on a BAD Bucs team. The bad refers more to the Bucs and those horrendous unis. The team itself is decent but have struggled ith poor QB play.

The game starts off well but the Raiders stall and go for a 52 yard FG. Sturgis misses on one of the ugliest kicks you will ever see. The score remains 0-0.

The whole first quarter went back and forth with no real offense. This is an ungly game thus far.

TB starts things off with a 50 yard FG early in the 2nd and take the lead 3-0. With 2:52 left in the 2nd, the Raiders tie it up with a 42 yard FG by Sturgis. That makes it 3-3.

The 3rd starts with Glennon mimicing his hero Tom Brady and going 7-7 and marching the field for a TD. 10-3 TB. Oakland then goes 3 and out... the drops are just getting ridiculous.

DJ Hayden comes up big and pcis Glennon. Raiders then turn it into 7 as on 4th and 1 from the 1 McGloin hits Moore for the TD. 10-10 with 2:03 left in the 3rd.

Glenon goes lights out again and his recievers cannot drop a pass if they tried. 8/9 for 72 yards and another goal line possession. However, praise CB Brown and he makes an endzone int to keep the game tied.

80 plays later and Raiders have the lead. Reece punches it in with 3 :32 left. 17-10 Raiders. Oakland went all run and it paid off. MJB went over 100 yards on the drive.

TB runs out of downs ans they go 4 and out at the Raider 31. Oakland then runs out the clock. Raiders win 17-10.

This game was far too close. TB's O was good and Okaland's D bent a little too much but did not break.

Week 9: :Oakland_Raiders: (5-2) @ :Houston_Texans: (3-4)

Welcome to Thursday Night Football! To celebrate the occasion the Texans wear their red jerseys.

Oakland starts off the game with a 42 yard FG to take a 3-0 lead. On the Texans first drive CB Hayden comes up with a pic six. 10-0 Raiders early.

The Texans use ball control and run the clock and the field but the drive ends with a 22 yard FG. Tat makes it 10-3. Okaland's next drive is short and they punt it away. This game is moving quickly. It's already half way through the 2nd.

The half ends with the score 10-3. The Texans have all the flow and most of the yards and time. The pic six is the difference. ZMLB Donaldson has played well with a sack and six tackles but the Raider O is out of sink thus far.

The half starts with a 3 and out. Raiders begin at their own 43. Another 3 and out for the Raiders and another long, long drive by te Texans follows. Neither team can run the ball but the ball but the Texans can move it through the air. A big hit drives the Texans out of FG range... no damage done.

After a few back and forth outs the 3rd ends, 10-3 with the Raiders driving. The drive gets to the 1 but the raiders (mainlyecause this game is developed by EA) go for the FG. The 18 yard FG is good and that makes it 13-3 Oakland with 8:06 remaining.

On the next drive Donaldson forces a fumble and CB Browns scoops it up for a TD. That makes it 20-3 Oakland with 7:59 left in the 4th.

With 3:54 left the Texans core a TD as TE Olson goes 81 yards ... untouched... and just like that it's 20-10. Hoever the onside kick fails and the Raiders get another chance to go 3 and out. On the next drive Hayden comes up with another int. to seal the game.

This game was ugly and pretty darn boring. The Raiders won 20-10 but this is not the type of game that gets you fans.

Week 10: :Atlanta_Falcons: 3-5 @ :Oakland_Raiders: 6-2

Raier coach Mike Smith looks to get payback against the team that fired him.

The Raiders respond as MJB goes 72 yards for the TD on the 2nd play of the game. Nice! 7-0 Oakland. The Raider D then does a 3 and out.

Raiders go 3 and out but rookie MLB Donaldson makes a pic off a Jenkins tip. A few plays later McGloin hits Moore for a 2 yard TD and it's 14-0 Oakland with 3:25 left inthe 1st quarter.

The 1st q ends with the Falcons driving. Then RB Spiller punches it in from the 3. Oakland had 8 in the box but Spiller went through the middle untouched... 14-7 Oakland with 9:27 left in the half.

Then the dead offense begins... 3 and 0outs backand forth. However, with 1:31 a breakthrough occurs as McGloin hits TE Rivera for a 19 yard TD. That makes it 21-7 Oakland.

At the half this game is tight. Since MJD's first drive he has done nothing. McGloin is 11/16 with 2 TD's but only has 98 yards passing. Ryan is 10/18 for 89 yards and has been hit and miss for Atlanta.

Late in the 3rd Ryan hits his FB for a TD. The drive was total BS that only madden could do.. again completey out of my control. 21-14 Oakland with 1:41 left in the 3rd.

More Madden bullshit on the next Raider drive and Oakland goes 3 and out. Not worth complaining about but honestly this game AI is horrendous and the physics and I use that term lightly are an embarrassment to sports video games! Regardless, the game must go on.

The 4th begins with the score 21-14 Oakland. After a few back and forths, the Raders led by McGloin go beastmode... a 15 play six minute drive ending with a 1 yard TD run by Stevenson. 28-14 Oakland with 1:59 left in the game.

The final score, Oakland 28 Atlanta 14.

Ahead of this week's game vs the rival Chiefs, Oakland will be getting back WR Randy Chaney and MLB Nick Roach. Chaney goes back to #1 on the depth chart. However, Roach will be #2 MLB as rookie Donaldson has been having a strong campaign thus far and has earned the start.

Week 11: :Kansas_City_Chiefs: 5-4 @ :Oakland_Raiders: 7-2

The Chiefs and Raiders will play each other twice in the next three weeks. Charles and MJD have been the staple backs in the NFL for the past few seasons. Both are in the top six this year, a little down from last year. The big story for this game though... Chaney is back!

On the first drive the Raiders use Chaney for 3 catches and a TD reception. What a way to return! 7-0 Raiders. The Chiefs are stopped on their first drive and the Raiders begin again this time from their own 21. Another dose of Chaney and this drive ends with MJD punching it in from the 1 to make it 14-0 Raiders with 9:53 left in the 2nd quarter.

A 3 and out and the Raiders start at their own 38. The drive fizzles but the Raiders pin KC to the 1 and on the next play Sio Moore gets a safety on Jamaal Charles. 16-0 Raiders.

With 1:58 left Sturgis hits a 29 yard FG and the Raiders increase the lead to 19-0. Again the key player... Chaney with a 37 yard reception on the drive.

On the next drive McGloin is picked off as only madden could do. The Chiefs then go 51 yards in 4 plays and 39 seconds and end the half with a 49 yard FG. At the half the score is 19-3 Oakland.

After a couple 3 and outs KC gets down to the 1 of Oakland. However the Oakland D is fierce today and forces KC to take an 18 yard FG. That makes it 19-6 Oakland.

With 9:42 left McGloin hits WR Terry for a 21 yard TD strike. The Raiders go for 2 but do not convert and that leaves the score 25-6.

With under two minutes remaining MJD punches it in from the 5 and the Raiders make it 32-6 Oakland. That is also the final score as the Chiefs run out of clock.

Week 12: :San_Diego_Chargers: (6-4) @ :Oakland_Raiders: (8-2)

Welcome to US Thanksgiving! It's Thursday night football to boot. SD did Oaktown a huge favour last week by knocking off Denver. Can Oakland capitalize this week?

After a nice drive ends with an awful 49 yard shank by Oakland SD takes over. Rookie QB W. Dalton and the retooled Chargers look to be a challenge. However due to strong wind their drive ends short of a score.

Raiders begin at their 20. The drive goes into the 2nd quarter and ends with an 8 yard TD strike from McGloin to Moore. 7-0 Oakland early in the 2nd quarter. McGloin is 10-11 for 101 yards and 1 TD. He is looking good today!!!

On the next drive SD gets to the redzone but CB Brown makes the interception in the endzone. Raiders take over at their own 9. However, Brown suffered a herniated disk on the play and is out for the game.

After an awesome drive, McGloin hits Chaney for an 11 yard TD strike and with 50 seconds left Oakland is up 14-0. The Chargers respond by getting into Oakland territory but poor clock managment costs them points. The half ends 14-0 Oakland.

McGloin is on fire 19/23 174 yards and 2 TD's. Nice! Dalton is playing well too but the Int. was costly.

SD starts with the ball at thir own 20. They get across the 50 andf then CB Jenkins makes the big INT. Oakland starts at the SD 48. A handful of plays later Sturgis hits a 40 yard FG to move Oakland up 17-0.

SD ends up punting on their next possession. Oakland starts at their own 45. The drive extends into the 4th. The drive ends with a 1 yard TD rush from RB Stevenson. That makes it 24-0 Oakland with 9:43 remaining.

SD's next drive ends with a pic six by Raider CB Cox. That makes it 31-0 Oakland. 3 pics on the day for Dalton. Ouch! Adding injury to insult, Dalton is hurt on the next series... Backup Jay Cutler (man I love hearing that...) cannot move the ball and Oakland gets it back at the SD 48.

Locker and Stevenson move to starters. The drive stalls but on SD's next play MLB Donaldson gets a safety and it's 33-0 Oakland. This is followed by chew the clock and that's the game folks!

Final score... Oakland 33 San Diego 0

Week 13: :Oakland_Raiders: (9-2) @ :Kansas_City_Chiefs: (6-5)

The best road trip of the season brings Oaktown to KC. The Raider and the Chiefs recently battled it out. Will the Raiders make it 2 and 0?

Oakland has a great first drive going 11 plays and a TD strike from McGloin to Chaney to make it 7-0. However, KC runs wild down the field and Charles ties it up 7-7 with 3:28 left in the 1st.

McGloin gets picked on the next drive. Physics don't appy to madden hence a phenomenal spin through the air int. KC begins at their own 31.

Three plays later, Kalil Mack crushes Smith and he's out for the game. Raiders take over at their 20. The 2nd quarter begins and the pace has slowed greatly. Raiders pin KC to their own 5 and a few plays later CB Cox gets a pic six. 14-7 Oakland.

Raiders force a 3 and out and start at midfield. The drive ends with a 23 yard FG by Sturgis. That makes it 17-7 Oakland. The score holds at the half.

Oakland's run game is dead on arrival. McGloin has 156 pass yards but is only 12/21. O is a struggle today. Lucky for Oakland the Raider D showed up to play.

KC starts with a long drive and gets to the 12. However, backup QB Murray gets crushed and 3rd stringer rookie QB Gilbert comes into the game. KC hits a 26 yard FG. 17-10 Oakland.

Raiders punt again and KC starts at their own 35 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. However, Branch picks off Gilbert and the Raiders get the ball back at the 50. The 3rd ends with Oakland on the move.

McGloin hits WR Bailey from about 22 yards out for a TD and that makes it 24-10 Oakland with 10:22 remaining. KC's next drive ends with a 43 yard FG to make it 24-13 Oakland with 6:59 left.

With 3:59 McGloin is picked again and KC has the ball at their own 38. With 1:49 left KC turns the all over on downs.

Ugly game for the Raiders but they get the win. Offense looked bad but KC had no pass offense today so that could not capitalize.

Week 14: :Indianapolis_Colts: (0-12) @ :Oakland_Raiders: (10-2)

This is one of those scary games for Oakland. An Indy team that is winless and a late season matchup against a vastly superior Raider team. Will Oaklans show up or take the week off?

Monday Night Football... let's get it on.

The Raiders start the game with... a punt. Not an inspired start. Indy has the #4 pass D and it showed. However, the Bradford led Colts go three and out so no damage done.

On the Raiders 2nd possession, anther punt. McGloin is now 1/5 for 10 yards. Drops, drops and more drops... On Indy's next drive... another punt. The 2nd quarter starts with another raider punt. The coach also pulled WR Lattimore from the 3rd slot and promotes Bailey. 3 drops in the game thus far... Lattimore didn't get it done.

On the Colts next drive CB Hayden intercepts Bradford. Raiders begin at the Indy 9. Two plays later MJD punches it in from the 3. 7-0 Raiders.

Indy ges 3 and out follwed by a 3 and out by the Raiders. Oakland now has 8 drops this game (sidenote... please Tiburon, please fix this type of crap!).

You won't see this coming but... Indy goes 3 and out. Raiders get the ball back. So... the Raiders then go three and out. Another two drops to report. That makes 10 in the first half. This is the type of crap that I just despise about Tiburon and Madden football!!!

The Greek tragedy continues as Indy goes three and out. Plus, Bradford gets injured. The half ends with the score 7-0. This is one of the worst games of Madden I have ever played.

McGloin 9/22 49 yards and 11 drops... typical Madden BS!

The 2nd hald starts with ... I kid you not... Charly Bradford in at QB for the injured Sam Bradford. Oh my... 3 plays later DT Devon Still gets a safety and it's 9-0 Raiders.

On the next Raider drive MJD goes over 1000 yards for the season. However, the Raiders drive ends in a punt. Smith has seen enough... he tells QB Jake Locker to warm up.

On the next Indy drive MLB Donaldson forces a fumble and Sio Moore recovers it at the Indy 13. The move to put in Lockers pays off as he hits Chaney for a 3 yard TD. He then hits Reece for a 2 point conversion. That makes it 17-0 Oakland with 5:12 left in the 3rd.

The Raiders go three and out as per usual and then the Colts drive the field before turning the ball over on downs with 7:23 left in the 4th. Lockers goes to work and five plays later, MJD punches it in from the two... that makes it 24-0 Raiders with 4:36 remaining.

Indy punts next drive and this one is pretty much over. Raiders win 24-0.

Oakland crushed the Chargers in week 12 with a 33-0 home win. Will the Raiders have the magic again today?

Raiders start at the 27. MJD gets hurt on the 2nd play. He has broken ribs and may be out for the season? Stevenson will run the rock today. Stevenson steps up and had 6 carries for 38 yards and a TD. 7-0 Raiders. The Raider D then forces a 3 ad out. Raiders start at their own 30.

The 1st ends with Oakland on the move. The Raiders get to the 3 but then McGloins throws an int. (the ball was invisible on replay???) It remains 7-0 Oakland. The Chargers have a short series and then the Raiders go 3 and out. However, DE Verson strips the QB and Woodley takes it in for a TD... 14-0 Oakland with 3:49 left in the half.

Chargers respond in Madden fashion with a quick TD. 14-7 Oakland. The half holds with that score. The LCGloin Int. really hurt as Oakland should have capitalized. This game is tight. Madden robo qb is 6/6 for 93 yards and a TD. McGloin is 11/18 114 yards.

What a break... SD fumbles on the kickoff and TE Kasa recovers at the SD 9. The Charger D is soooo fast. They bring the pressue and within 2 seconds McGloin is sackked. Sturgis hits a 3 from 20 to make the score 17-7 Oakland.

SD then goes 3 and out and Oakland starts at their own 42. McGloin is then picked off. He overthrew a 3 yard out by probably 10 yards... SD starts at the 50... and go backwards with a 3 and out.

Raiders start at their own 33. A handful of players later (and just after a huge 30 yard plus run from Stevenson) RB Sims punches it in from the 3. That makes it 24-7 Oakland with 4:28 left in the half.

Dalton gets hurt again and Jay Cutler takes the field. It is a major step down for SD. They punt again. Stevnson has had a great run game thus far. He eclipsed 100 yards on the last drive and keeps piling it on. The 3rd ends with the Raiders in SD territory.

Sturgis hits a 29 yards FG and that makes it 27-7. However, Cutler on his next play throws a 77 yard TD strike. 27-14 is the score with 8:20 remaining. Oh Madden how I hate thee. McGloin gets hurt on the next drive and then Locker throws a pic six. How do players move like that? Where are the damn physics and weight???... 27-21 Oakland.

McGloin is forced back into action. He drives down the field and then... throws a pic. However, the ball is fumbled and Oakland recovers. No they don't... a challenge... The ball is out before the runner is down and they play is reversed SD gets the ball back. Well, it's decided, Madden has made the choice that I will lose. According to script, Cutler goes 6 for 6 and on 4th and one hits a TD strike. 28-27 SD.

Oakland starts at their own 23. McGloin then has 4 straight passes knocked down. SD takes over at the Raider 20.

SD wins 31-27 as they hit an FG with 2 seconds left.. What an f&in joke! Madden decided that I would lose this game and so I did.

For all that Madden does right... it is this crap that makes me question whether madden will ever be anything more than madden football. Could this happen in a real game? Maybe. The orblem is that it happends in Madden 1-2 times per season. Scripted losses... should not be a part of the game and that comback AI crap has to be removed. Man I am pissed right now!!!

Reports out of Oakland are that the Raider brass will not be attempting to re sign MJD. An anonymous report said "this is Stevenson's team now." Romour now are that MJD may be put on IR just to give Stenson the confidence to succeed.

Week 16: :Tennessee_Titans: (8-6) @ :Oakland_Raiders: (11-3)

This is a huge game in the :AFC: as division leaders meet. These are both top three D's so this shoud be a great game.

The game starts with great D and after a few snuffed drives the Raiders begin to move the ball. To start the 2nd, the Raiders are on the 3. On 3rd and 1, Reece punches it in for the TD and it's 7-0 Oakland, early in the 2nd.

A few plays later RE Verson crushes Phillip Rivers. Former Raider Terell Pryor comes into the game. The Titans settle for a 50 yard FG and that makes it 7-3 Oakland.

However, McGloin throws a pic six. I'm not even going to get into the physics issue.... madden is madden.... 10-7 Titans.

The Raiders then go down the field with precision and with 41 seconds left, Stevenson punches it in from the 1 to take the lead back 14-10. The score holds to the half. Raiders have dominated this game in possession but the pic six was a killer.

Titans go 3 and out and the Raiders start at their own 42. Raiders get to the 2 and again McGloin throws a pic. Such crap as Kerrigan was a good three feet out of the endzone and then somehow came back into the pay and made an int.

A few series later, McGloin hits Chaney in the endzone for a TD and the Raiders go up 21-10 with 2:22 left in the 3rd. A few plays later, safety Usama Young leaves the game with a bruised sternum.

The drive ends with a 28 yard Titan Fg to make the score 21-13 Raiders with 1110:31 remaining in the 4th. On his 26th carry, Stevenson breaks the 100 yard mark. However, the drive is a short one and Tennessee has the ball back. The Raider D destoys Pryor and just like that the drive ends.

Stevenson then takes the game on his back and runs down the field and the clock. Raiders win 21-13.

Hands down, Stevenson was the star of the game. He was a workhorse and he shredded the #3 Titan D. Posession time was 33:01 for Oakland and only 14:59 for Tennessee.

The win is huge for Oakland as the Raiders clinch a playoff spot. Tennessee no has a fight on their hands with the Jags.

Week 17: :Oakland_Raiders: (12-3) @ :Jax_Jaguars: (7-7-1)


Here we are. The last week of the season. This weeks game has huge reprocussions on the outcome of the :AFC::NFL_Playoffs: Will the Raiders clinch the division? the conference? Will the Jags make the playoffs? Will the Broncos make it to the show? The only way to answer some of those Q's is to take the field. It's go time!

It's a miserable day in Jacksonville! The rain is pouring and the stadium is full...

The raiders have a strong start to the game as they they a 3 and out on D then the O follows it up with absolutely nothing. The D's have shown up to play today.

The Jags next drive makes some noise but ends with a 49 yard FG miss. The Raiders respond with a 2nd 3 and out. 4 yards passing and six rush yards...

The Jags next drive sputters at midfield. Just like that it's the 2nd quarter. On the next drive the Raiders... go three and out. 27th ranked jacksonville D is looking good today...

Both teams share another short series. Halfway through the 2nd thgame is still scoreless. Late in the half, the Raiders put together a nice drive. With 33 seconds left, Stevenson takes it in from the 1 and that makes it 7-0 Oakland.

The half ends with the score Oakland 7 Jacksonville 0. This game has been awful and it's all abouty weather... drops, slips, oose balls, etc. On a negative, TE Rivera has a hip pointer and is gone for the game. Kasa will move into the starting lineup.

The 3rd starts with anoter set of 3 and outs for both teams. On Oakland's 3rd possession, Stevenson rumbles in from the 8 and that makes it 14-0 Oakland.

The 3rd comes to an end and so does the Jags next drive. The Raiders then fumble. McGloin is crushed on thelay and coughs it up deep in Oakland territory. The drive ends with a 40 yard FG 14-3 Oakland.

On the next Raider drive, Stevenson goes over 100 yards on his 20th carry. The drive ends with McGloin hitting Reece from 8 yards out and they take a commanding 21-3 lead ith 3:57 remaining. At the 1:08 mark the Jags turn it over on 4th and 1 and that's the game.

It's how it should be as the two best teams from the :AFC: battle it out to earn a spot to the Super Bowl. This is anyone's game. The experts are divided on who will win this game. NE has home field advantage but their D has two major injuries.

It's go time! This brings back memories.... Raiders/Patriots... and it's snwonig hard!!!

Raiders start with the ball at their own 23. Raiders have a 16 play driver and get to the 3 but Browner makes a pass block even though he was not looking at the ball. Raiders settle for 3.

On NE's first play Brady is crushed by DT Still. Oh yeah the D is pumped!!! The Pats go 3 and out and it's Raider ball at the Oakland 32. The Raiders continue to move the ball and chew the clock as the first quarter ends 3-0 Oakland.

Today it's about ball control and not giving Brady time. The raider drive ends at mid field but the Pats are pinned to their own 1. They get close to midfield but the snow is just deadly today for the passing game.

Raiders start at the 20. The Raiders get to the 24 of NE but McGloin throws a pic at the 7. He didn't see the safety overtop. Pats start at their on 21 with 4:22 left in the half. NE moves the ball but again the snow kills the pass game and Oakland takes over at their own 14 with 1:57 left.

Oakland cannot move the ball and NE uses timeouts to stop ther clock. They get the ball back with 1:02 left and at their own 46. With 10 seconds left, Suisam goes for a 51 yard FG but he misses just short and the score hold 3-0 Oakland. With 1 second left Oakland goes for the hsil mary but with no luck.

Raiders dominated time in the 1st half but both sides have had no pass game (McGloin 7/17 81 Brady 8/15 66).

Pats start with the ball at their own 22. They storm down the field but CB Jenkins makes a phenomenal int at the Oakland 1. Wow!!! Bad news...WR Chaney gets crushed by Browner and he is gone for the game. Good news... on his 25 carry, Stevenson goes over 100 yards rushing. The drive ends with a 46 yard FG by Sturgis. That makes it 6-0 Oakland. That was another long drive going 18 plays. Posession and keeping the ball from Brady...

Raiders lost Chaney and the Pats then lose Matt Forte. The Pats go 3 and out and the 3rd is over as Oakland awaits the punt. Oakland starts thefourth at their own 46. This is huge! However a 3 and out is the result. The Pats start at their own 3.

Brady's down! Brady's down! Brady's down! Still takes him down and Garoppalo is in. Brady is done as he as a torn shoulder labrum.

The Raiders go 3 and out again and the Pats start at the 22 with 5:55 remaining. Pats get deep into Oakland territrory but cannot convert on 4th down and hand the ball over.

Raiders take over and convert. Pats burn all of their timeouts...

Welcome to Arlington Texas. The crowd is pumped. The teams are ready. It's go time!

Oakland wins the coin toss and even though the strategy is to kick off, for some reason the Raiders recieve the ball... (oh Madden... :( Nonetheless, the Raiders start at their own 22 and put together an amazing 16 play, 9 minute drive that ends with RB Stevenson taking it in for a TD. That makes it 7-0 Oakland with 2:13 left in the 1st quarter.

NO starts at their own 20 but the drive only lasts two series. Oakland starts the 2nd quarter with the ball at their own 26. Another long drive of 12 plays and over 7 minutes ends with Stevenson's 2nd td of the afternoon. 14-0 Oakland!!!

The Saints next drive is anther short one and results in a punt. Why are the Saints depending on Demarco Murray rather than Drew Brees?

Raiders start at their own 34 with 1:50 left. Oakland sensning blood in the water goes into the 2 minute offense and with 14 seconds left McGloin hits WR Chaney for the touchdown.

The half ends with the score 21-0 Oakland. Oakland has dominated the entire game and it's not even close. Almost 20 minutes of ball control to 6 for NO. The game for the Saints has been ugly thus far! The injuries they have... they just cannot compete.

Saints do nothing on their first possession and the Raiders start at their own 45. However they go 3 and out but not before pinning the Sants to the 1. On the next play Kalil Mack gets a safety on Demrco Murray and it's 23-0 Oakland.

Oakland starts at their 30 and gets into NO territory but Stevenson fumbles at the Saint 39. However, the refs reverse the ruling on the field... which was wrong... it should be NO ball!!!

The Raiders get to the 6 of NO and McGloin gets rocked. Locker comes in to the game and two plays later hits TE Rivera for a 4 yard TD strike. 30-0 Oakland.

NO starts at the 28 and... continue to run Murray...??? Why??? However, the Saints begin to move the ball. Brees has only thrown six passes thus far???

The quarter ends with the Saints on the move. The Saints go for it on 4th and 4 and convert and get into scoring position. Brees then hits Graham for a TD strike. That makes it 30-7 Raiders with 9:26 left.

Raiders begin at their own 31. The drive goes nowhere and the Saints start at their own 5. Coltson gets rocked by Hayden and fumbles at the NO 24. McGloin then hits Lattimore in the back of the endzone for a TD. 37-7 Raiders! With 5:48 left this game is over.

Murray gets injured and now the Saints begin to throw the ball. Brees hits Graham for a TD and it's 37-14 Raiders with 4:38 left.

Saints go for the onside recover and they get it. However, a few plays later Branch comes over the top and makes a phenomenal int or else it would have been a TD. Raiders go 3 and out as now the NO D shows up.

Woth 3:25 left the Saints take over at their own 12. Murray comes back into the game and the drive ends with Brees hitting Crooks for a TD but the 2pt convert is no good.

The Saints go for another 2 point conversion but the Raiders recover. McGloin and Stevenson run the clock out amnd the game is over.

Breaking news out of Oakland tonight. The team and the city have come to an agreement to build s new stadium in order to keep the team in Oakland. The deal is tentaive at this point but all signs point to this agreement being settled in the next two months.

Oh no, the dynasty will be continuing! In fact, for the last two weeks, I have been wanting to fire up the next game of the dynasty. But every time I get a chance, I either have to instead get stuff on the DVR watched since it's almost always full (usually 85-90% or higher), or I end up too tired after a day of work to bring myself around to spending 3 hours playing a game and typing it up.

In fact, outside of maybe an hour of Rocket League here or there, I have done almost zero gaming since around July 15th. I spent the weekend of the 18th in Cleveland for my best friend's engagement party (since I'm his best man) and since I've gotten back, I just really have not done any gaming. My free time lately has just been watching TV and reading, or else sleeping.

My goal is to try and have a game played and posted either later today or tomorrow, and, with luck, maybe finish out the season I'm in the middle of by August 15th.

The borked confidence has a lot to do with the win. Most of my players were 99 confidence and it gives you a big advantage. Also, the injuries for the Saints really "hurt" them. Plus, why oh why ould the Saints only run the ball in the first half? Had they played the whole game like the last quarter things may have been dfferent.
