LSU Tigers drop 1st game 38-10 to USE

UCF put up 397 yards, with 179 on the ground..218 through the air. The QB was on fire hitting 25 of 29 attempts with 4 TD's. LSU was able to pick him 2 times.

The UCF D was just as nasty holding the Tigers to just 97 yards total.

The one bright spot was LB Chris McIntyre who chipped in 5 tackles, 2 for losses, 2 sacks and 1 interception. It should have been a pick 6 but transitioning from Madden I spun after the pick lol.

So far so good. No one has won yet :D

So far so good. No one has won yet :DI could barely get a first down, much less threaten to score. I was 0-9 on 3rd down conversions until late in the 4th. I was however 1-1 on 4th downs. Could have taken more chances given the beating but use to that being limited.

Couldn't believe I was unable to move the ball at all, granted their Defense was rated 90. I actually had 28 yards on 27 plays at one point haha.

I'd run a Dive play from I-Form and the DE would run completely around my Tackle into the backfield and tackle the RB before he made it even 1-yard.

I want revenge games against all these teams when we start to get better. On another note my Center's name is Cam Newton :D:D

I'll probably play my game sometime this weekend, still working on my playbook (not that it really matters with this team).

I did give you guys a "winable" non-conference game, but just one :) the other three aren't.

I need to adjust. I'm the weakest in the dynasty likely. Only my 3rd game since buying it again and 10th total with this version period. I didn't get to play much when it came out last year.

Going to go play the CPU a few times and get their tendencies, use to the movement of players and timing down. It seems to move much faster than Madden. Plays execute noticeably different as well IMO.

Need to check out rest of my schedule since you said that lol

Florida struggles at Missouri losing 52-21.

The Gators offense performed admirable racking up 370 yards of total offense but it wasn't enough to overcome 3 fumbles and a determined Missouri offense. Throughout the game, the Florida offense had nicks & bruises with several players going down to injury. Thankfully none of them are serious and only HB Randall Williams sat more than a few plays.

QB Joey Jones performed well in his debut completing 14/22 passes for 261 yards with 2 touchdowns, however most that work came from his WRs who were able to catch short passes and take them the distance. WR Travis Anderson shined on the day catching 5 passes for 121 yards with 1 touchdown. Running the ball was very much by a committee, especially after Williams went down for the game. HB Michael Swan had the bulk of the carries with 14 for 54 yards and a score.

Defensively, there were no true highlights except for Linebackers Demetrius Stewart and Ronald Cox each having 10 tackles on the day.

Florida will use Week 2 to lick their wounds before hosting #1 Florida State in Week 3.

PSU just couldn't over come the potent offensive attack from ND.

Their were signs of an offense from PSU just nothing that could be repeated consistently.

Looking forward to this challenge and the games ahead for these young guys.

Ugh.

Defense performed admirably, which is saying something considering I expected absolute destruction. But the offense, which I had a lot of confidence in, was a disaster. In the first couple drives the QB resembled Joe Bauserman and threw it 10 yards beyond everyone. Then later he would be on target but the WR would drop it.

31-14 loss, but the second TD was garbage time.

Auburn falls to #11 South Carolina 42-17. Despite being unable to contain Mike Davis who in his junior year looks poised to win the Heisman, the resurgent Auburn Tigers showed some positive signs on offense amassing 306 yards and 17 points against stout Gamecock defense. Junior QB Brett Peterson finished the game 18/32 with 245 yards and 2 touchdowns, HB Greg Brown gained 72 yards on 23 carries however was unable to pick up some tough yards when needed. The Tigers look to be in a tough spot as they travel to Tuscaloosa next week to face off against #4 Alabama.

Is Razorback44 out of town too or just marcotte? Razorback44 is the Arkansas coach... marcotte is the Oregon coach.

Marcotte/Oregon already played a few days ago. Don't think he's on vacation though.

Razorback is out of town, he posted in our one preseason thread.

I did give you guys a "winable" non-conference game, but just one :) the other three aren't.Mostly being a smart-ass here, but which non-conf game did you think was winnable for me? Virginia Tech? Maybe, but they're not exactly Southern Miss ;)

I have a feeling some of us (myself included) might be testing if a 0-win season is acceptable for a 5-win contract.

I imagine the new Georgia Southern coach could go 0-12 this coming year and still survive his first year... I equate us to being even lower than that.

I equate us to being even lower than that.Maybe, but I saw other level 1 coaches are already at 0%.I imagine it has something to do with where you start, but this system is too much of a black box for me.
