No restrictions. I'm thinking of 3 10-team conferences with four in each conference if we get the full 12.

So the PAC12 is all set with Oregon,USC,UCLA right? IMO lets keep the conferences the way they are and schedule everyone 2 non-conf games along with 2 conf games, so everyone has 4 user games.

I think JB mentioned he planned to have 8-10 teams in each conference so there would only be one division in each conference. That said, as I'm finding, we'll almost certainly want to play in the lower tier conferences... even against those teams, with the Heisman sliders I'm using, I'm having a battle against the worst teams.

I can't recall if JB is soccer-crazy, but we could do some kind of "promotion/regulation" deal where the team that wins their conference (maybe if only a user) gets promoted to a "big boy" conference. Lol.

Agreed. I don't want to play in a weak conference and pull out 5-6 wins. We should be getting pounded our first couple of years until we can get some recruits in. I obviously don't want it to take as long but look how long it took SMU to get back.

The issue is, I guarantee we all get fired after the first season. Granted, we can rejoin and take our team back over when that happens, but then of course you're also resetting your coach XP, etc.

That seems to only trigger after 4-5 seasons, but I'm not certain on the timing. I think what happens is that the coaches section in the dynasty save file gets filled (looking at my test offline dynasty, I see a bunch of unassigned coaches in there) and when that happens, then new coaches created won't get goals/XP.

My thought is that, worst case scenario, after the first season, after all bowls are played (before advancing to carousel), everyone retire and rejoin regardless whether you're safe or not. That would keep all of us on the same level for season 2.

So far G hasn't been able to get the expectation lower than 8 games, and I'm guessing that's with taking down some of our Recruiting Ratings pretty far. Non-conference games will only get us so far.

And I don't know about the rest of you, but my offensive line averages 55 OVR. I'm not sure I'll be able to hold my own against anyone :D

Yes we need toSo, Snoop, we both totally had brain farts. The game is based on 2013, so the Legends and Leaders are still in the game. It's actually already setup, with Michigan and Nebraska in the one, and Ohio/Penn State in the other. Mich/OSU and PSU/Neb have protected rivalries, so that'll give us each two guaranteed user games with the possibility of a third depending on our other-division schedule.

If JB doesn't make any changes, that is. Basically saying that he may not need to.
