MLB outselling Wolfenstein is pretty darn impressive. Kudos to the development team.

Xbox One's sales have to be horrific. They announced the price cut in the middle of May and was still $500 the entire month of May. Rest assured, it bombed during May.

Yeah I figure XB1 sales were bad this month due in large part to the announced price cut. I was more curious to see if the PS4 was keeping up its torrid pace or how much it has slowed down.

From Neogaf, probably the closest you are going to find.

-----------------------------
Hardware Monthly Sales
-----------------------------
PS4 ~ 197k
3DS ~ 97k
XB1 ~ 77k
Wii U ~ 61k
360 ~ 57k
PSV ~ 56k
PS3 ~ 36k
Wii ~ 11k

Microsoft has been especially quiet in regards to this months NPD. They are usually the first out the door with a presser, followed by Nintendo only wanting to discuss 3DS sales. Sony tends to not give two shits about the consumer seeing their figures (good or bad) and it just ends up coming from someone who has paid access to the numbers.

It's interesting that the WiiU is relatively in the ballpark with XB1.

Those are absolutely awful numbers all around. Nothing sold over 200,000 units? Holy fuck.

Is May typically a down month?

What was the April PS4 #? It looks like the pace has clearly slowed down on the PS4 - so its "new" factor is gone - now people that buy the console are going to wait until a specific game(s) come out before biting the bullet.

Mario Kart 8 was released and probably helped move some hardware.

Hardware:

PlayStation 4: Best selling hardware. No figures given.
Xbox One: 115K, Second best selling hardware. (This would be lower than any 360 April sans this one.)
Xbox 360: 71K

I think selling 200,000 next gen systems a month outside the launch window and outside holiday seasons should be considered good at these prices. When they get cut to $299 in 2015 or so they will really take off. Bundling options seem to be more popular than price cuts.
