Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Office of AMD Devinder Kumar seemed to suggest on Tuesday at a Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Technology Conference, without providing any specific details.

Of course the guy from AMD wants to see a new generation sooner. They are providing the GPU for all three next gen systems and the CPU for Sony. Prices for their CPU/GPU's go down as the years go by. He wants to sell new and pricier CPU's and GPU's. Reality is that AMD does not dictate when the next generation will begin.

By the time it's time for next gen, Sony will be out of business, Microsoft will have sold off Xbox to Amazon (who promptly turns it into a casual gaming service), and Nintendo will be exclusively a developer for iOS. :nod:
