Papa and I ran into some bad lag today. We tried twice but both times it would pop up at the worst times. We're going to try again sometime this weekend.

Michigan travels out west to the coliseum and wins an exiting game over USC 42-33. It was all Trojans and all defense for the first third of the game. USC took the lead with a FG on their first drive and added a TD on another drive to start the 2nd quarter. An interception in their own endzone by the Trojans kept the score at 10-0 well into the 2nd. But the Wolverines were finally able to get on the board with a nice drive for a TD to end the half. 10-7 USC at halftime. Everything changed int he second half as the offenses came to life. For USC, it was the ground game, as the duo of Davis and Issac started breaking big runs left, right, and up the middle. For Michigan is was the passing game as Morris got in a groove throwing the ball after an awful first half where he was only 4/14 completing passes. The turnaround by Morris was greatly helped by a switch to the no huddle offense for Michigan. The 3rd quarter was a non-stop score fest: TD USC, TD Michigan, TD USC, TD Michigan, FG USC. 27-21 USC through the 3rd. The hold to a FG would be big, as Michigan continued with scoring TDs. The Wolverines took their first lead of the game at the start of the 4th on a Morris QB sneak, 28-27. The Trojans answered immediately, went for 2 points, and Browne got sacked, 33-28 USC. Michigan came right back with a 41 yard TD pass to Dukes, opt to not go for the 2, 35-33 Michigan. Then finally, the Wolverine D made a play with a INT of Browne and only 5 minutes left in the game. Michigan ball, Michigan with the lead, the first time in the game that combination had happened. The hurry up went away as the Wolverines switched to grind mode. Enough of a running a game and some timely passes to move the chains gave Michigan the long drive they needed to kill the clock. They ended it with a TD run and only 1:37 left on the clock. Down 2 scores, the Trojans scrambled to make something happened, but another INT down in the red zone iced the game.

Hell of a game psuexv. I look forward to the next meeting. That was a really fun game to play win or lose.

Good game Hands. Yeah the fact that your QB ended up going 18/22 in the 2nd half was tough to overcome. He definitely turned it on. I needed to open up a bigger lead in the 1st off of those turnovers, that really hurt me.
