I met Luke Willson, Seattle TE at a football camp in Windsor Saturday. The guy was a giant. Had to be 6'7". Signed my son's football Jersey from last year.

They added the mascot because of the dog pound which isn't going away. I don't understand this comment.

Personally I am pulling for Brian Hoyer to be the starter in Cleveland. He looked great in limited action last year and I am NOT a fan of Manziel and his act. However, I suspect the Browns will go all in on Manziel. Memories of Tim Couch anyone???

Now ok bring the dog in because of the dog pound I get that, but the name man.

I personally want Manziel for Week 1 and guys that look like my next door neighbor as the WR's he's probably throwing too. In all seriousness though as a Steeler fan I want him Week 1. Even with Pittsburgh's unproven Defense.

Couch was completely different though. Teams seem to go all in on QBs and never seem to want real competition. Unless you are a bonafide starter in this league I keep drafting QBs until I strike gold. The common thread in all bad franchises is bad QB play.

Unless you meet these requirements, I wouldn't break out the party poppers just yet.

The service is only available to those who: 1) live in apartment buildings where DirecTV service is unavailable; 2) live in metro New York, Philadelphia or San Francisco; or 3) attend college at Michigan (Ann Arbor), Alabama, Washington, Texas (Austin), USC, Florida, Colorado (Boulder), Syracuse, Ohio State or Harvard.

A lot of discussion about the Raiders and their stadium. I believe the lease expires next year. The talk is the Raiders will either set sail for L.A. or cut a deal to play out of SF's Levi Stadium. I dislike both of those options. With Cal's stadium refurbished I wonder if their would be a willingness to play there for a season or two while Oakland's stadium could get a massive renovation. I really don't want to see them go back to L.A. but the need for two teams in the Bay area is questionable.

Wonder if the NFLPA will appeal?

Think they appeal every single suspension. Hell Gordon hasn't even been officially suspended and he already has appeal date set for August 1st

The new girl on NFL AM Erin Coscarelli is nice but I miss Nicole Zaloumis. She was hot and good. Apparently she left last month to spend more time with her family. I thought she was just on vacation but when training camps opened and she wasn't around I knew something was wrong.

However I get why it's funny given how he was.

Starting Miami SS Reshad Jones with a 4 game PED suspension. He said he'll come back strong than ever. Stupid quote as that's what got you busted in the first place! That's 2 Dolphin defenders now after a horrible negative PR campaign last year. He can be replaced but our safety depth is only one-man deep. Can't afford another injury there for 4 games.

http://www.vikings.com/stadium/new-stadium/images.htmlThey have concerns about birds running into glass and dying.

It's either started to happen or has happened or has into other buildings.

Would be kind of messed up though to build a see through structure in a environment that inhabit.

Having a good laugh over all of the "Manziel had a great game" commentary across the web. I watched most of that game live. I must have watched a different game because I was NOT impressed. 7/11 for 63 yards and 6 rushes for 25 yards. Those stats do not tell the story. Manziel had a number of opportunities but he didn't check off his receivers. He would make one read (if that) and then go. In college his risk and reward style worked. I suspect he will be in for a rough ride in the NFL.

Hoyer didn't blow me away by any stretch but he did look more comfortable and confident behind centre. He still has to be #1 on the depth chart.
