Why Hip-Hop is GOAT

No other music genre is so diverse and developed. pop, country, metal and rock fans are satisfied with the same old thing. Artists in those genres diversify themselves to some degree, but they don’t push boundaries nor do they need to. Rappers who don’t try to diversify, do something new or try to be very talented are played off very quickly. They are criticized harshly and doomed to either failure or “the mainstream effect.” That is when they sell very well, but any hip hop expert or wanna be hip hop expert will hate their immortal soul. This leads to fans expecting more and waning more constantly. This manifests into anger and hate toward those who do not recognize just how amazing hip hop is, and rappers who don’t meet expectations. Look at it like this, if a guy doesn’t like a pop artist then its no big deal since there were only 10 lines that were repeated for the whole song and pop fans know that . When a rapper who writes three 64 bar verses with mad lyrical content rapped over a self made beat that acts as an orgasm the ears and doesn’t get credit because people just say rap is recycled trash, we get pissed the fuck off.
