Grammys are almost here, and we all know those dumbasses have no real idea what Rap albums should really be in the running, so using the same time tables what are your top 10 releases of the year? (Mixtapes and EPs ok)

So original. You have yet to give legit reasons why you don't like rap.

You learn how to do something as simple as properly quoting a reply and I will give you 500 legitimate reasons I do not like each of the following.

Your copying of threads from another site, over and over.
Rap Music
The fact you still have the ability to create threads.

 :D :fp: That's pretty much all he knows how to do. Take threads someone else has posted over there, copy and paste the title and thread content and post it over here.

Honestly, can we just get this crap all moved and combined into one thread? There is no need for a new goddamn rap thread every other day, especially when it's just lifted content, word for word, that others have posted over on that rap forum. :fp:

The last album I've ever bought was the Kanye West album that had "All if the Lights" on it and that's only because it was like, $2 on Amazon. I don't even buy music anymore. I just listen to AOL Radio whenever I'm in the mood for music.

I think not liking rap comes with age and also if you didn't grow up listening to RAP why would you start when you are older?

I think your inexperience with age fails to realize that RAP wasnt really "crossed over" until the late 90's. You had other races listening to NWA, etc in the early 90's but it was by in large still a minority groups genre, naturally there were people who crossed over then also...see LL, beastie boys, Run DMC ( and even these people where in the 80's) but RAP as it is now in what is suppose to be "gangster RAP" didnt really cross over until much later when even then they switched to "bling" Rap.

I guess the point of me saying this is most people on this site (active posters) are not in there early 20's or in high school so this isn't probably where you would find your most active rap listeners....hell even I don't listen to it as much as I use to ;hardly at all really, I listen to like three artist and Kanye isn't one of them.

Spotify here. Awesome to stream at work and have access to pretty much anything and everything. Don't have to carry my ipod around anymore, especially since it won't hold a charge anyway. LOL.

One of the top 2013 rap albums (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ).

I haven't picked it up yet, but the newest Deltron 3030 album is probably the only 2013 hip hop album on my radar at the moment.

People like different kinds of music for different reasons. The two things that are most important to me are rhythm (not just the beat) and texture (types of sounds used). Less important to me personally are melody, lyrics and voice timbre, though any of those can and does become the primary reason why I like a song or artist.

Music would be pretty boring if everybody liked exactly the same thing.
