Deep Purple got screwed. I know there is a KISS army but most of their music is shit to my ears.

A great class in my opinion, but yes it's a travisty that Deep Purple is not in. I never was a KISS fan, but they have a place in history, it was about time. Of course grunge being around when I was 11-13, it's a huge part of my life so I'm extremely pleased with Nirvana being in. When I was little I had to listen to lite rock, and some of the artists that stuck with me as I got older were Chicago and Hall & Oates, so very pleased they got in.

Favorite Nirvana Song:

Sweet. I'm going in two weeks to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It'll be interesting to see.

Also, it's a fuckin' travesty that Yes didn't make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are one of the MAIN reasons that Progressive rock and metal exist. They pioneered quite a bit of that stuff WELL before it was cool to do.

Their subject matter? To whom are you referring? Numerous bands/singers are mentioned and you did not quote a post or specify directly.

KISS never could get into them. Don't know why.
